Last week we had a smaller group than usual, but we still had a
good time. This week I am sure we will have a larger group with
us. ■ •
We will get another quilt in the frame and will be able to get
some quilting done on it. I’m sure it will be very pretty, as usual.
Also, we are expecting two more ladies to join us. Seems more
people want to know how to quilt. My daughters tell me that now
quilts are more popular than bed spreads. Sounds good to me! We
hope younger people wjlLlemn to piece and quilt also.
So nice*TO'-S£e^th6flags mowing in our yards on Monday for
Memorial Day. That is one day that means so much to us. We have
so much to be so thankful for and remember the past.
This Tuesday will be a happy day for us to celebrate Maggie’s
birthday. She will have a birthday cake that she didn’t have to bake
and we will all enjoy it and also to sing Happy Birthday to her. I m
sure she will enjoy this day extra well. She means so much to all of
us and can help us so much. She has helped me so much after I had
a stroke. She got me started embroidering and quilting again and 1
will never forget those things.
On June 13th will be our day to have Tina from Stephens Home
Health with us so mark your calendar to come by and get your
blood sugar & blood pressure checked. We all look forward to this
day.
You are welcome to be with us each Tuesday and enjoy
everything with us. It’s one day each week we all enjoy.
Remember: Start by doing what’s necessary; then what’s
possible, and suddenly you are doing the impossible.

Sunday, we were happy to have
Bro. Jim and Pat Clifton back with
us. Bro. Bert Atkins preached for
us again so Bro. Jim could have
another day off to recuperate from
his hospitalization. Bro. Bert and
his wife, Jordan, sang a beautiful
duet, and then their children joined
them for another song. For our
Sunday night service, Jonnie and
Juanita Brawley brought a special
service and talked to us about their
experiences on the mission field in
Uganda, Africa. They will be in
our prayers as they are preparing to
go to Mexico for further mission
work.
We were happy to welcome
some visitors Sunday morning
including Bryan, Lydia, and Daniel
Seals, Ron and Nancy Johnson and
Cody. Sunday evening we were
happy to have Harold and Barbara
Miller, their daughter, and
grandson. David and Shirley
Wynne were back with us. Shirley
has been ill, and we were glad she
was able to be with us. Also
We’re here for YOUR Needs.
