SAN ANTONIO—
Dorothy MacClean says to
renew her sub . She says she
really enjoys her paper... “its
a big day when I get it! All
of you are doing a great job.
Would you please tell Lynn
& wife hello for me? I used
to be Lynn s and his parents
and grandparent's
neighbor. They were super
to me. Thanks, and God
Bless. ” Thank you, Dorothy.
If you ever come to Timpson,
please come by.
WHO ARE THESE
PEOPLE? A lady called in
and identified the folks in the
old picture in last week’s
paper? They are Shelby Co.
Farm Bureau delegates who
attended the Convention held
Nov. 12,13,1970’s. J.A. Gray,
Mr. & Mrs. Doyle Ramsey,
Mr. & Mrs. Arnold Kaluza,
J.B. Oates and Joe D.
Anderson. She did not identify
the ones in the top pix.
OFFICE—can you top
this? Some slime ball put two
quarters in our news rack in
Timpson and took out about 75
news papers!!! When Doug
checked, there was 50 cents
and 75 papers gone! What in
the world did he need with 75
papers? For the dog to use?
Moving and need papers to
pack with? Maybe to fill the
cracks in his shack to stop the
cold air this winter? I don’t
believe a crumb like that
would have 75 friends to give
papers to.Wow! We never
stop learning that we are living
in the same town as Satan and
his crooks.
ROAD WORK—watch
where you are driving in
Timpson & Tenaha. In
Timpson on 59, there is a ditch
along the road that would
swallow a small SUV. It is a
good 4 ft. deep and wide as a
lane. In Tenaha, the orange
colored cones direct you to
one lane and then the other.
At the traffic light, there is
one-lane traffic for a ways.
Watch for the arrows.
NEW BUSINESS—
Tenaha will soon have an
Antique Mall on the corner on
59 just past the red light and
next to City Hall. Randy
Whatley of the SO in Center
is the owner. Be listening for
his auctioneer’s voice.
‘Betchahe will be doing some.
Also, there were jail inmates
doing community service in
Tenaha Tuesday. They were
working on the side of City
Hall where some steps were
taken down. Doing a good job,
too!
OFFICE—Titus Brandon
and his bw came by Monday.
He looks well since his heart
surgery. Had some by-passes
after a routine checkup. Be
sure and attend Lois’ swearing
in as Postmaster at Gary.
Such a sweet person we have
known for several years.
SYMPATHY—to the
family of Doris Burns who
passed away Sat. She will be
missed by us. We loved her.
TENAHA—Just an
update of what a success 2003
TISD Homecoming was the
bon fire on Thursday night with
all the Tiger Pride that Tenaha
is so known for. The parade
started promptly at 10:30 Sat.
morning and it was one of the
largest since I have been
chairperson. The hamburger
fund raiser was a sell out and
enjoyed by all. Wandell
Womack did, as usual, a very
great job on display pictures
of the past classes of TISD at
the Alumni Tea on the
campus. When I arrived, there
was standing room only in the
Board Room. Pre-game
program showed our club
sweetheart and duchesses at
their very best.
Congratulations to Dominique
Roland being selected as
Homecoming Queen. Martha
Boren us to be commended for
her continued sponsorship of
this part of the Homecoming.
Job well done. Even with the
ending score of the football
game, Tiger Pride continues.
I personally thank each person
who had a part in making this
weekend an enjoyable time
for the many Exes that were
here. Just a note: I’ll be having
my 50th next year. Voice of

TIMPSON—Beth, at City
Hall, says things have been
quiet. Our lawmen will be in
Center tomorrow attending a
legal update class. She also
said the Legal Hearing on the
Water Grant went okay. No
one attended. Must be a good
sign.

GUARANTEE DELIVERED- At his first public appear-
ance, Timpson Band Director Nathan Templeton guaranteed
a First Division Rating when the time came for his band to
compete at the U.I.L marching contest. He said that his guar-
antee was as good as "fat backs and collard greens."
Two weeks ago, the time came to see if Mr. Templeton
could walk his talk. He did.
Band Director Nathan Templeton led the Timpson March-
ing Band to a First Division Rating and cashed in on his prom-
ise.
At Timpson's last home football game of the year, Mr.
Templeton, along with High School Principal Calvin Smith, pre-
sented the U.I.L. First Division Rating trophy to Supt. Dr.
Leland Moore.

TENAHA COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS TREE PROJECT
The Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Project sponsored
by the Tenaha Businessmen’s Club is now underway. We
urge you to get your names for the lights as soon as
possible. The lights on the tree are to commemorate the
memory or the honor of someone you cherish. Each light
will cost $1.00 for each name. This has become a
wonderful tradition during our Christmas season. Either
turn your list in to Doyce Bailey at City Hall or mail to
Doyce Bailey City of Tenaha, P.O. Box 70, Tenaha, Tx
75974. The proceeds will be used for a continual update
of all the Christmases in Tenaha Lighting projects. Names
will be read prior to the Christmas on the Square program
scheduled for Dec. 4,2003 and will be printed in the T&T
News.

Hello again from the Ramah
Community. I am writing to
you on November 4th, 2003 and
it has been a great week.. Our
Sunday school was up again
and so was our preaching ser-
vices. All of my Children were
down for my birthday on Sat-
urday, and they all spent the
night and went to church with
us on Sunday. If we would
have had pack a pew Sunday,
I would have won the contest,
my family pact a pew. My
daughter came down from
Pennsylvania to be with me on
my birthday also. It has been a
great birthday. Our specials
were done by John Templin,
and my daughter Debbie Grady.
My daughter did her special in
sign language. She signs for her
church in Pennsylvania. My
grand-son Tanner got to spend
the night with us Sunday night.
He is the one who races go-
cart. He wanted to spend the
night in our trailer, so we let
him, and then on Monday we
took him home. This was his
first time to spend the night
away from home. We had sup-
per with his family Monday
night. We had a great time to-
gether. Our visitors were John
and Margaret Templin ( From
Louisiana) , Kathy, Hunter,
Flannah Ebey ( From Shreve-
port), Jim Gober ( From Salt
Lake City) Tim, Bev , Tanner
and Hunter Perry (From Tyler)
Bobby Perry ( from Dallas)
Debbie Grady (From Pennsyl-
vania) and Chris, Denise and
Cameron Shafer from Temple.
Our birthday people were Bro.
Bill Perry, Terry Goodnight,
Kevin Foster, Marie Perry,
Riley Sherrod, and Barry Mon-
roe. Happy birthday folks. Our
anniversary folks were Jimmy
and Pat Bowden. Austin

this week with an ear infection.
Winnie Smith said that Vestus
is doing better than he has in a
while. I hope to get by on
Wednesday to visit with him.
Bro. Lamar Gunter is also do-
ing better. He has had some bad
days, but lately has had some
good days. I have been doing
very well. I have had no pains
to speak of. I still have not got-
ten an appointment to MD
Anderson, but my Doctors in
Tyler have been in contact with
Houston, and the paper work
is being processed. I under-
stand that Henry Hughs is do-
ing better. He has been out and
about doing some shopping.
Our prayer are still with him.
Mrs. Gladys Horton has been
under the weather, but Lance
tells me that she has been do-
ing much better. Gladys is now
living with Lance and barbara,
and seems to be much happier.
Bro. J.R Hudson has been un-
der the weather also, but he
seems to be getting better. He
came by the house on Tues-
day and he seem to still be a
little weak. Just keep these
folks in your prayers. The
Tenaha Ministerial Alliance met
at the First Baptist Church on
Monday November 3rd , 2003
at 10:00 AM. We lined out our

New pastor of First Baptist
Tenaha. You are invited to

Thanksgiving fun raiser for the
Ministerial Alliance on Novem-
