nor surgery at the Pilot Point
clinic Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Burgner re-
turned home after spending two
weeks at the home of his brother
near Frisco.
Little Miss Ernestine Worthey
spent last week in Denton visiting
her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.
C. Worthey.
Mrs. Bill McDade underwent
major surgery at the Denton hos-
pital Wednesday.
Mr. and Mi-s. Troy Williams of
Denton visited Mr. and Mrs. Mel-
vin Hammonds and family last
week.
Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Seals of Gar-
, land are spending a short vacation
| with.Mrs. Saels’ mofher. Mrs.
Hugh Shearer.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Perkins and

family reunion at White Rock

Kelly Brooks has returned home
after spending the past week vis-
iting relatives at Sadler.
Mrs. Effie Snyder of Denton
spent the week-end with her sis-
ter, Mrs. H. D. Tisdell.
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Lantrip and
son of Aubrey spent Sunday night
with Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Meinen.
Louie Meinen underwent an op-
eration last week to have a piece
of shrapnel removd from his
shoulder, but when they cut in to
get the shrapnel it was found to
be a more serious operation than
they thought and he will have to
go to a hospital to have it re-
moved.
Mrs. Randal Moore and Mrs.
Gary Moore attended a singing
convention at Frisco Sunday after-
noon.
The Home Demonstration Club
entertained the Pilot Point, Belew,
Green Valley and Spring Hill
clubs at the community center
Friday afternoon, about 68 ladies
being present.
MTs. Gladys Tarleton and chil-
dren spent Sunday with Mr.' and
Mrs. J. C. Jackson and family in
the Parvin community.
Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Hutson and
son of Pasadena, Texas, are vis-
iting Mr. and Mrs. Gene Hutson

parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Paf-
ford, and family.
Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Francis of
Sadler were recent guests of Miss
Dona Francis and Zellner Francis.
Miss Fannie George arid friend,
Miss Lillian Nelson of Dallas,
were guests of the former’s moth-
er, Mrs. Ola George, and family
from Tuesday to Thursday night.
Miss Ida Hallgren of Dallas is
spending her two weeks vacation
as a guest in the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Sam Littrell.
Mrs. Ella Beth Thomason has
been visiting her father, Jeff Lee,
nd Murphy Lee.
Mrs. T. B. DuVall of Celina is
visiting Mr. and Mrs. Claude Du-
Vall.
Mr. and Mrs. Roger McAdams
of Ysleta are guests of the lat-
ter’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. R.
Frisby.
Shorty Long is a guest of his
granddaughter, Mrs. Maggie Nor-
man. He has not been well since
he suffered a stroke of paralysis
several weeks ago.
Sunday guests of Mrs. Ola
George and family were Mr. and
Mrs. John George and children,
Shirley, Frances and Kenneth, of
Chambersville.
Vineyard Keneau was a patient
in a Celina clinic part of last
week. He is much improved.

Goode in McKinney Tuesday aft-
ernoon. Mrs. Goode is the mother
of O. J. Moss of Bryan, Texas.

lia Lewis and little son of McKin-
ney visited their aunt, Mrs. C. W.
O’Brien, and Mr. O’Brien, Sunday
afternoon.

visited in the Doyle home Tuesday.
