Some time ago the ladies of the
quilting circle voted to landscape'
the church yard. Friday a group
brought lunch and worked all day
setting our foundation shrubs.
Mr. and Mrs. Harris Flanery of
Celina were recent guests of Mr.
and Mrs. R. O. Melton.
Mrs. Bagwill remains on the sick
list.
C. R. Woods was sick last week
while visiting his son, Grady
Woods, west of Celina.
Mrs. Thelma Pell has been on
the sick list.
Recent guests of Mr. and Mrs.
E. O. Melton were Mr. and Mrs.
Garrett Powell of Mustang, and
Mr. and Mrs. Herman Johnson of
Aubrey.
Jeff and Murphy Lee made a
business trip to Dallas last Thurs-
day.
Almost every family in this
community began gardening dur-
ing the sunny weather last Thurs-
day and Friday.
Mrs. Lin Greer of Dallas was a
guest of her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Claude DuVall, Tuesday.
F. W. Francis of Sadler was a
recent guest of his sister, Miss
Dona Francis, and Mr. and Mrs.
Zellner Francis.
Mr. and Mrs. John Darnall of
McKinney were in this community
Friday. They were looking over the
cemetery, and visited with a group
of people landscaping the church
yard.
Saturday guests of Mr. and Mrs.
Frank Pafford and family were
Mr. and Mrs. Lee Muhlinghause
and Jimmie Pafford of Dallas.
Mr. and Mrs. M. D. Shields and
son Billy Lynn were week-end
guests of Mr. and Mrs. Frank
Krkoska and family of Valley
View. Fred Krkoska returned
home with them for a week’s visit.
C. R. Woods is spending a few
days with Mr. and Mrs. Grady
Woods and son, west of Celina.
Mr. and Mrs. George Rutherford
of Dallas were guests of Mr. and
Mrs. J. B. Tucker Saturday.
