Hello once again from the
Ramah community. The last
few day have been beautiful.
Saturday,
about 8:00 AM, there was a
loud noise that literally shook
the parsonage. At first I thought
a train had derailed, or maybe
an earth-quake. I found out
later, when I turned on the
news, that the Space shuttle
Columbia had come a part on
reentry. Our hearts and prayers
goes out to the families of those
who were killed.
Our Sunday school atten-
dance was about the same as it
has been, and our Morning ser-
vices is also holding it’s own.
Our attendance is good. Debbie
and Rainey Coker was with us
this Sunday. It is always a plea-
sure to have them with us. They
were down to visit with Marie
and Red Odom. Speaking of
Red, we sang Happy Birthday
to Red Odom today. Happy
Birthday Red. Mark Odom,
Red’s son, is to have surgery on
Thursday. Just remember him
in your prayers. Kelsey Barton
is to have her tonsils out Mon-
day morning, and her brother,
Austin, is to have some tubes
put in his ears. This should be
an out patient type surgery, and
they should be back home by
noon. I hope to be there with
them Monday morning. After
their surgery I will be traveling
to Plano to visit with Bill and
Sheryl Mills. Sheryl had sur-
gery last Tuesday, and is doing
better, but she is still in the
Plano Presbyterian Hospital.
Just be in prayer for her. I also
have a trustee’s meeting in
Waxahachie Monday night and
Tuesday morning. Lots of trav-
eling, but Dorothy will be home
to take care of anything that
might happen while I am gone.
Little Harley Eubank was
back with us this week . She
had surgery last week, and she
Muckleroy; daughter and son-
in-law, Pamela Ann and Jay
Loving of Coppell, mother-in-
law Edith Franks of Stockman,
Texas; aunt, Billie Charles Nix
of Garrison and special friend,
Majorie Holt of Garrison and
numerous relatives and friends.

is doing much better, and her
and her Mom and Dad was with
us on Sunday Morning. Also
back with us this week was
John and Nellie Smith. They
both have been under the
weather for a few weeks, and
it was good to have them both
back with us. Well not just a
whole lot to report on. It seems
everyone is doing as well as can
be expected, and doing the best
they can with the cards they
have been dealt. Well, I did get
my car fixed up and doing bet-
ter. It cost to keep those things
running, and talk about cost
...... my goodness how much
further will gasoline go up ? If
it goes up any higher, some
people maybe parking those
cars and ridding bicycles or
motorcycles. And when gas
goes up, everything else goes
up. Well anyway......
Overall this has been a good
week, but ended up on a sad
Home Chapel with Bob Can-
non officiating. His body was
cremated.
Mr. Hughes died in Center
at Green Acres Nursing Home
February 3,2003. He was born
August 22, 1918 in Shelby
County to Joe Hughes and Dee
Powdrill Hughes. He was re-
tired from Houston Power and
Light as athe controller-room
operator.

Marcille Hughes of Center; 3
daughters Regina Wright of

band Mark of Forney, Marcia
Nelson and husband, Scott of

note. The whole world is now
looking at us here in the East
Texas area, and this time they
are not making fun of how we
talk, but are amazed at how we
all pull together to get things
done. God bless all of those
who are trying to locate the
shuttle. It sounds like a tough
and gruesome job. May God
bless you.
Our Cook Book are dwin-
dling down, and we have just a
few left. We have almost sold
all of our cook books, and we
thank all of you who have
bought one. Thanks for help-
ing us to raise the money to
build a play-ground for our
children. May you all be
blessed.. I have nothing else to
say, so I will just sign off for
now, and talk to you again next
week. From Bro. Bill and Dor-
othy Perry, and Gladys
Horton..........Blessings.
The City of Tenaha has just
celebrated it’s 117th Birthday and
all of us in this line community are
proud of the progress this small
East Texas town nestled in the deep
pineywoods has made. This being
the 117th year since the beginning
of Tenaha marks a proud time in
history. We plan to put even more
life into this small town in each
future year. Watch us grow!!!

On behalf of the entire Tyson family, we’d like to
express our heartfelt appreciation for the many warm
condolences and gracious generosities given to us at
the passing of our beloved husband, father, and
grandfather, John.
The celebration of the joys
of his life were shared
again in the many kind
offerings of flowers, food,
cards and calls, the hugs
of knowing affection by so
many friends and
neighbors. We thank
every one of you for
sharing in his life and for joining
us in sharing his loss.
You are in our prayers.
