The frowning woman walked up to the little boy she
caught smoking. , , , , ,
“Does your mother know you smoke?” she demanded.
“Lady,” he countered, “does your husband know yo
stop and talk to strange men on the street?”
you
“John, you’re awful. You sit there night after night and
don’t pay any attention to me. You don’t treat me the way
you used to. You don’t love me any more.”
“Nonsense. I love you more than ever. I worship the
ground you walk on. Your every wish is my command. And
now if you don’t shut up and let me read this newspaper I m
going to beat your brains out!”
An Irishman and a Scotchman went into a hotel and
were asked to register, signing their names and nationalities.
The Irishman wrote: “Irish and proud of it!”
The Scotchman wrote: “Scotch and fond of it!”

ABOUT MY ELECTRIC RANGE!
Can't wait to get into the kitchen in the mornings?
Take the accurate temperature control, for instance ... I
prepare a whole meal, set the temperature control ta
the heat required, and all I do is take it out of the oven at the
designated time. It’s as easy as that, for the temperature
control does the watching for me—cuts on and off to keep
uniform cooking heat... and I get perfect results every time!
The deep-well cooker, a wonderful
feature in the new electric ranges,
is perfect for stews, baked beans
and other one-dish meals, as well as
complete balanced meals. Saves
plenty of time... and money, too!
Then there’s the big oven! I can cook a whole turkey,
or ham, and all the trimmings, even desserts, at one
time. Yes, I love cooking ... cooking the electric
way. it’s cool, economical, fast and time-saving!
Take my advice—stop by your Electrical Appliance
Dealer and see the modern electric ranges!
