service in New Hope Leprosy
Liberia West Africa.
In the missionary service the
Rev. Hagler will tell of the dev-
elopment and work of the leper
colony. He will tell of arecent
visit of the Honorable William
V. S. Tubman President of Li-
beria and twenty-three mem-
bers jf his cabinet to the As-
semblies of God Leprosarium.
After viewing the work being
done in the colony the president
expressed his desire to see the
colony enlarged to accomodate
additional patients. He allo-
cated ten square miles of
jungle land to the colony for
agricultural purposes. This land
errant will aid the mission in its
program of becoming self sup-
porting and will facilitate its
plan for expansion. Rev. Hagar
is going to Airica to put tnis
land grant into cultivation to
make the colony self-support-incr.
iAs acricultural supervisor

b- patients at the leprosarium.

semblies of God churches in
Spur and Anton Texas arid en-
tracred in evangelistic ministry
in Texas New Mexico and Ar-
kansas. He has also worked for
the United States Department

sentative. Mrs. Hagar a registered

nity clinic in Saboba Ghana.

services and village meetings.

Mrs. Hagar will assist in the
clinic and religious education
classes.
The Hagars are currently
traveling in the United States
presenting the Assemblies of
God in Liberia. They will be
leaving soon to begin working
in the New Hope Mission.

invitation to the public to hear
the Rev. Hagar. 'A film will be
a special feature of the mission-
ary service. The service will be-
gin at 7:30.
jPkne Seeding
Used In Jarre
Aeroplane seeding of 400
acres of rangeland has been
completed on the Solana
Ranch. The Solana Ranch is lo-
cated 4 miles northwest of Jar-
rell. This is the first aeroplane
seeding of rangeland in the Lit-
tle River-San Gabriel Soil Con-
servation District.
The advantages of this meth-
od of range seeding are: one
time saving the 400 acres
were seeded in G hours; second
.there is a great saving on equip
ment there is practically no
equipment that could stand up
to the terrain that was covered
by the plane; third there is a
more even distribution of seed
than by any other method of
seeding; and lastly it is the
most inexpensive method of
range seeding that could be de-
vised for the area seeded.
