5. The building of roads and the
use of highways by common carriers
of freight and passengers for hire
should be carefully considered, and the
rights and welfare of the public pro-
tected. I favor a more liberal policy
of Federal aid in construction of our
highway system.
6. Highways nad bridges should be
constructed without delay, in such
numbers, across Red River, free of
tolls or charges to meet the full
needs of the social desires and business
interests of the people in the sister
States of Oklahoma and Texas.
7. Federal Reserve Banks should
be carefully regulated by law.
8. 1 favor a liberal policy in deal-
ing with the needs of the veterans of
all wars, including immediate hospit-
alization and full and complete com-
pensation for all the disabled ex-ser-
vice men.
9. A League of Nations is a natural
coming event, and should be effected
with great care, and without unneces-
sary delay so that world peace and
either will result in public calamity.
In this day of consolidation of wealth,
involving practically every important
business, the money if the country has
beendrained away from general circu-
lation and is in the hands of predatory
wealth, causing great distress to all
other business and the general public.
Something must and can be done to
correct this terrible condition.
Respectfully submitted,
C. B. Randell.
