and children of Dallas visited Mrs.
Mary Settle Sunday.
Mrs. Henry Greenwood spent
the past week with her son, Fi
Greenwood and family in Gaines-
ville.
Fred Greenwood is quite ill with
an infected foot.
Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Wilson vis-
ited Mr. and Mrs. Fred Green-
wood and children in Gainesville
Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Brewer of
Denton visited Mr. and Mrs. Wal
ter Higginbotham Sunday.
Mrs. Mace and daughter Bar-
bara spent Saturday and Sunday
with her daughter, Mrs. Peterman,
and Mr. Peterman and Virgil.
Joyce Greenwood, student in
NTSC, Denton, spent the week-end
with her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Oscar Greenwood.
Mrs. W. J. Shipley, Mrs. Mitch-
ell Nevins and Miss Alice Cantrell
were Dallas visitors Tuesday. Mrs.
Shipley went to a clinic for an
examination.
Rev. Finis Hodges of McKinney
preached at the Presbyterian
church Friday night.
Mrs. O. B. Beckner Jr., and
sons Ralph and Charles and Mrs.
R. J. Wilson went to Gainesville
Friday to see Fred Greenwood and
family and to bring his mother,
Mrs. Henry Greenwood, home aft-
er a week with her son.
Henry Greenwood spent the
week, while Mrs. Greenwood was
away, on the farm with his daugh-
ter, Mrs. O. B. Beckner, and Mr.
Beckner and children. He said he
