From the Police Chief
By Police Chief David Miles
Once again there
has been an attempt by
one of those worthless
few that prey on our
elderly residents. A
person with a Middle
Eastern accent is
calling one of our
residents and trying
to collect money for a
prize that they have not won. He uses the
name Robert Brown and Robert Baker
and is asking for money to process and
deliver the prize. I have talked to him
on the phone and he cannot produce
any authentication and will not give his
location. Again I urge you not to give
in to these type of scams. If you didn’t
enter you can’t win, and if you do win
a contest it shouldn’t cost to collect the
prize.
