Fourth District Conference will
be held in Woodville, April 2 at
the Community Inn. Delegates

Phillip Allen has reminded
that the first pre-school clinic
will be held at the school, Mon-
day, March 22, from 8:30-12:00.

The Chance-Loeb FHA girls,
under the direction, of Mrs.
Ruth Ann Bendy, will have a
cake and pie sale, Friday,
March 26. The money raised
will be used to finance the trip
to the FHA Convention in Dal-
las. Anyone wishing to donate
or buy a cake or pie can reach
the Homemaking Department
by calling PL 5-4911.
Ronnie LeBlanc, son of Mr,
and Mrs. N. P. LeBlanc is the
champion speller of the first
eight grades in the school. The
final spelling bee was held last
Friday. Ronnie, a sixth grade
student, will be entered in the
Houston Chronicle spelling con-
test at a later date. Runners up
are Kirk Dearman and Billy
Riles, seventh grade, and De-
nise Buel, a fifth grade student.

District 1, TSTA convention in
Galveston, March 12-13. Gar-
ner attended the Small Schools
Administrators Conference at

be held Saturday, March 20, in
the school gym. Polling hours
will be 8 a. m. until 7 p. m. and
