Wedding Nuptials
Calvary Baptist Church was the
setting for the wedding ceremony
uniting Karen Jeanette Boles and
Steven Lloyd Gerber at 7 p.m.
Saturday, July 12.
Brother Leo Wisniewski officiated
at the formal, double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Bobby L. Boles of Sulphur
Springs. Parents of the bridegroom
are Mr, and Mrs. Lloyd M. Gerber of
Boise, Idaho.
Given in marriage by her parents,
the bride wore a formal gown of
white taffeta featuring an off-the-
shoulder ruffled neckline and poufed
short sleeves with a ryffled-edged
trim. The fitted waistline of the gown
was accented with a wide belted sash
which tied in the back before falling
into ruffled tiers trimmed with
rossettes and lace. The hemline of the
gown was also accented with a large
ruffle and lace trim before ex-
tending into a full-length train.
She carried a cascade of purple and
white roses and baby’s breath ac-
cented with purple and white
streamers.
Lisa Ann Tuley of Dallas attended
as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids
were Sue Mitchell of Sulphur Springs,
Cathy Baucom of Waco and Chandra
Hurley of Sulphur Springs.
The bride’s attendants wore tea-
length gowns of dark purple taffeta
featuring off-the-shoulder ruffled
necklines and carried cascades of
white rosebuds with purple
streamers.
Kristy Boles, niece of the bride of
Sulphur Springs, served as the flower
girl.
Ronald Wills of Suphur Springs
attended the bridegroom as his best
man. Groomsmen were Bobby Daniel
of Weaver, Claude Walter and Jerry
Boles, both of Sulphur Springs.
Walter and Boles also served as
ushers.
Music for the ceremony was
provided by Nancy Stephens, pianist,
and Leslie Stephens and Trey Elliott,
vocalists. Miss Stephens sang,
“Evergreen”, and also joined Ellliott
in singing, “Till I Loved You” and
“Always and Forever.”
Following the ceremony, a
reception was hosted at the Country
Folks Inn.
Highlighting the bride’s table was a
four-tiered cake decorated with
draped garland surrounding purple
roses and rosebuds. A lighted foun-
tain flowed through the cake which
also held a staircase on eadvside.
Houseparty members include Carol
Boles, Penny Widls, Sharon Daniel
and Julie Smith.
Michelle Bradley of Lubbock •
presided at the registry.
Following a wedding trip to Tyler
and Dallas, the couple will live in Salt
Lake City, Utah.
The bride is 1984 graduate of
Sulphur Springs High School and a
1985 graduate of Elkins Institute of
Photography in Dallas. The
bridegroom attended Brigham Young
University in Provo, Utah.
Christina Marie Yosten of Muen-
ster and Allen William Bayer of
Denton were married at 5 p.m.
Saturday, July 12, in a Nuptial Mass
and double-ring ceremony in the
Sacred Heart Church. Father Victor
Gillespie officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs.
Helen Yosten of Sulphur Springs and
the late Larry Yosten. The
bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Rosalie
Bayer of Muenster and the late
Robert Bayer.
The bride was presented at the
altar by her brother, Matthew
Yosten. She wore silk organza and
Alencon lace designer gown by Mori
Lee. The portrait neckline encircled
with lace and self-fabric ruffles
highlighted the bodice while long,
slim sheer sleeves enhanced with
lace tapered into notched vee cuffs.
The graceful asymmetrical line of the
skirt fell to slipper-length in front
before sweeping into a chapel-length
train completely enclrcl&L with
ruffles and lavishly trimmed with
Alencon lace and tiny pearls.
Her two-tiered veil of illusion was
attached to a matching Alencon lace
headpiece. She carried an all-white
bridal bouquet of roses, carnations,
stephanotis and baby’s breath.
For sentiment, she carried a new
rosary, a gift from her mother; and a
diamond ring borrowed from her
sister.
Sandra Taylor of Muenster, a
friend of the bride, attended as the
maid of honor. Ann Yosten of Sulphur
Springs, sister of the bride, and Susan
Bayer of Muenster, sister of the
bridegroom, attended as
bridesmaids.
They wore fantaza aqua gowns
featuring sweetheart necklines
adorned with lace. Satin bows
trimmed the shoulders while a wide
sash accented the basque bodice. The
full skirts were also trimmed with
lace and sat
They carried fans'With vellow, blue
and green silk flowers and, wore silk
flower wreaths in their hair.
Wendy Cole of Austin, niece of the
bridegroom, served as the flower
girl. John Bartush Jr. of Muenster,
nephew of the bride, was the ring
bearer.
Hank Bayer of Muenster attended
his brother as his best man.
Groomsmen were Carl Bayer of
Muenster, brother of the bridegroom;
and Barney Yosten of Steubenville,
Ohio, brother of the bride.
Ushers were David Muller of
Muenster, Chris Cox of Lewisville,
Tim Reiter of Gainesville and
Jeremy Owen of Lindsay, nephew of
the bride. Darren Klement of
MujSnster, also a nephew of the bride,
was the Mass server.
Participating in the wedding
liturgy were the bride’s brother-in-
law, John Bartush of Muenster, and
the bridegroom’s sister, Betty Cole of
Austin, who gave the readings.
Wedding music was presented by>
organist Ruth Felderhoff and
vocalists Emily Klement and Wendell
Black, who sang, “Edelweiss”, “The
Wedding Song", “Wherever You
Go”, “Wind Beneath My Wings” an<j
“Amazing Grace.”
The altars of the church
decorated with all-w\hite
arrangements of gladioli and gpider
mums, lighted candles aluHi floor
candelabra holding lighted candles in
a heart shape on each side of the front
altar. Aqua bows marked the family
pews in the center aisle.
Following the ceremony, a
reception, dinner and dance followed
in the Sacreji. Heart C^gjmunity
Center hosted by the bride's mother,
Mrs. R.L. Yosten, and the
bridegroom's mother, Mrs. Robert
Bayer.
Le Ann Mollenkopf and Connie
McAden presided at the bride’s book
to register guests.
Serving the three-tiered wedding
cake, which was placed over a lighted
fountain and decorated with a

ceramic bridal figurine were Renee
Klement, niece of the bride; Sondra
Hess, rose Felderhoff and Carmen
Daugherty.
Following- a wedding trip to
.Orlando. Fla,, the couple are making

tended the summer program of El

Friday, July 11, in the Wesley United
MetHWist Church, Sulphur Springs.
The Rev Jerry Putnam, pastor of
the church, officiated at the
ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and
Mrs. John M. Chubb of Sulphur
Springs and Mr. arid Mrs. R E.
Gooch.
Given in marriage by her father,
the bride chose a candlelight gown of
satin with and an off-the-shuulder
neckline and lace and pearl bodice
accentuated by the short butterfly-
sleeves. From the empress waistline
fell the full skirt edged with lace and
extending into a full-length' train
For her headpiece, she chose a
three-tier full-length veil attached to
a candlelight pearl caplet
For her bouquet, she carried a
cascade of silk candlelight roses.
* Patricia Mikuler of Cameron and
Diana Beverly of Crane, sisters of the
bride, attended as the matrons of
honor. They wore full-length gowns in
the bride’s chosen color of antique
rose featuring off-the-shoulder ruf-
fled necklines and full skirls with
matching ruffled hemlines.
Gary Myers, cousin of the
bridegroom of Plano, attended as the
best man. Groomsman was Terry
Knight of Greenville. Ushers were
Jack Chubb Jr. of Denison and Dr
Chuck Lay of Sulphur Springs
The bridegroom wore a silver gray
tuxedo with tails with a candlelight
cummerbund waistband and silver
shoes. His atteiidanls and ushers
wore evening tuxedos of silver gray

history She is planning to teach and
coach tennis at Boswell High School
in Saginaw
The bridegroom is also a 1985
graduate of ETSU with a degree in
business management He is em-
ployed with General Dynamics Fort
Worth Division as a manufacturing
engineering consultant
The couple honeymooned in
Jamaica.
Webb, Cal Ian, United In Marriage
60th Anniversary
Weldon and Oda Moore of 501 Pampa St., Sulphur Springs,
will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Sunday, Aug.
24, at their home. Mr. Moore and the former Oda Roberts
were married Aug. 22, 1926, in Clarksville. They are both
retired teachers and have lived in Sulphur Springs since
1968. The couple have one son and daughter, four grand-
children and one great-grandchild.

Stephen Webb were united in
marriage at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2,
at White Rock United Methodist
Church in Dallas. .
The Rev. Gary Ragan officiated at
the candlelight, double-ring
ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. George W. Callan. Parents
of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs.
Marshall G. Webb of Houston.
Grandparents of the couple are
Jack Callan of Cumby, Mr. and Mrs.
Clyde Ferguson and Mr. and Mrs.
William Webb, all of Miller Grove.

the bride wore gown of white organza
with beaded silk Venise lace motifs, a
high neckline and long, tapered
sleeves. The bodice of the gown was
heavily beaded and formed a basque.

roses accented with pink rose buds.
Karla Briggs attended as the
matron of hbnor Bridesmaids were
Diane Prater, Deena Del .ay and
Stacey Hopper. Junior bridesmaid
was Casey Webb, sister of the bride.
Lindsey and Lauren Walsh, cousins of
the bride, attended as the flower
girls. . *
The bride’s attendants wore gowns
of pink crepe back satin and carried
bouquets of varied pink silk flowers.
Serving as best man was the
bridegroom’s brother, Brian WeEfbt
Groomsmen were Scot Ullrich,
Robert Abt and Ted Kirby. Junior
groomsman was Scott Webb, cqpsin
of the bridegroom. D. J. Porter served
as the candlelighter, and Paul
Hickernell and Tom Briggs served
as candlelighters.
Music 4or the ceremony was
presented by Lynn Johnson, organist,
and Cheryl Allison and Brad Hunt,
soloists.
The bride is a graduate of North
Mesquite High School and is em-
ployed as a secretary for Michael
Wiss, attorrrey, while attending
Eastfield College.
The bridegroom is a graduate of
Memorial High School in Houston and
attended Texas A&M University . He
is employed with Sherwin Wijjjam
Paint Co. in Garland.
