at 10:00 a.m. in the Harrell
Memorial Chapel for Mrs. Mae
Belle Dixon, who died March 6
in the Dublin Nursing and
Convalescent Center at the age
of 86. Mrs. Hope Stepen played
organ music with Rev. Denzil
Wright, pastor of the First
United Methodist Church of-
ficiating. Burial was in the Erath
Garden of Memories.
Mrs. Dixon was born August
10, 1889 in Forest Chapel,
Alabama to Andrew Jackson
Kent and Della Wright Kent.
She married Silas Dixon on June
7, 1921 and two children were
born to this union. A son
preceeded her in death.
Surviving relatives include
her husband, Mr. Silas Dixon of
Dublin and a daughter, Mrs.
Grady C. Baker of Dublin. Also
two grandchildren, Miss Me-
linda Baker and Randall Baker,
of Dublin, two nephews, Jack
Kent of Gainesville and Joe
Kent of Abilene. Mrs. Dixon
had four brothers and two
sisters.
Pallbearers were Glen Dun-
can, Vernon Gibson. Ruben
Kasper, Delbert Shafer, Dr.
Harlen Raley and Dean Bradley.

married W.T. Hancock on
January 14, 1906 and five
children were born to this union.
Her husband and two children
preceeded her in death. She was
a member of the Congregational
Methodist Church of Dublin.
Surviving relatives include a
son Hubert L. Hancock of
Dublin and two daughters Mrs.
Martin Cook of Dublin and Mary
Ella Ellison of Lubbock. Six
grandchildren and thirteen
great grandchildren. A sister,
Mrs. May Licett of Arlington
and two brothers Tom Cop-
pedge of Denton and J.W. Cop-
pedge of Stephenville.
