MRS. TED PROCTER TUCKER
Debra Kay Daniel of Tyler and Ted
Procter Tucker of Murchison were
united in marriage at 7 p.m. Satur-
day, June 21, in the Colonial Hills
Baptist Church in Tyler.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Dean M. Daniel of Sulphur
Springs. The bridegroom is the son of
Mrs. Mary Tucker of Murchison.
Dr. John H. Beard, pastor of
Colonial Hills Baptist Church, of-
ficiated at the double-ring ceremony.
Given in marriage by her father,
the bride chose a gown of white satin.
Embellished with pearls, the bodice
featured a high neckline, sheer yoke;
cap sleeves accented with fluted
ruffles and a basque waistline. The
full skirt was designed’with motifs
and insets of silk embroidered lace
which swept to a cathedral-length
train.
She carried a cascade of silk
English ivy, rubrum lilies, and
mauve and white rosebuds.
Mrs. Becky Dodd of North Richland
Hills, sister of the bride, attended as
the matron of honor. Bridesmaids
were Mrs. Vicki Lindsey of Burleson
and Miss Sherry Booth of Tyler, ji
Her attendants wore floor-len^h
gowns of mauve pink taffeta
featuring a vee neck, large, puffed
sleeves and a dropped waist.
The matronof honor carried a
bouquet of fresh rubrum lilies,
^rosebuds and English ivy. The
bridesmaids carried bouquets of
fresh rubrum lilies and English ivy.
Maria Louisa Tucker of Bryan and
Claire TuckerbfNacogdoches, nieces
of the bridegroom, served as flower
girls. Ring bearers were Evans
Tucker of Bryan and Caleb Tucker of
Nacogdoches.
Tim Tucker of Bryan attended his
brother as the best man. Groomsmen
were Tom Tucker of Murchison and
Clyde Tucker of Nacogdoches,
brothers of the bridegroom.
Ushers were Chris Hall and Mack
Saxon, both of Tyler. -
Music for the ceremony was
provided by Arvin Starrett of Parish
pianist; and singers Letha Miller of
Tyler and Angie Littrell of Sulphur
Springs.
Following the ceremony, a
reception was hosted by the bride’S
parents in the parlor of the church.

Mrs. Glen Vessels, Mrs. Bill Dudley,
Mrs. Tim Tucker, Mrs. Clyde Tucker,
Mrs. Mack Saxon of Tyler and Miss
Michelle Swindell of Tyler.
Following a wedding trip to New
Mexico and Colorado, the couple are
making their home in Tyler. ^v.
The bride was graduated from
Sulphur Springs High School and
employed as a scanning specialist
with Brookshire Grocery Co.
The bridegroom was graduated
from Athens High School and at-
tended Henderson County Junior
College and Stephen F. Austin
University. He is employed as a
district manager with American
Dairy Queen Corporation.
Ceremony Planned
Mr. and MrsTT<en McAdams of Sulphur Springs announce,
the engagement and approaching marriage of their'
daughter, Kenna Dawn, to Kendall Lee Me Fall of Cerritos,
Calif. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe McFall of Dexter,
Kan. The couple plan to wed at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, in
Gafford Chapel.
Local Families Gather For Annual Reunions
Dodd Fomily
The family of Oliver and Helen Dodd gathered at the City Park Sunday,
June 15, for their annual father’s Day family picnic.
Those attending included Oliver and Helen Dodd, Jimmie and Venera
Dodd, David Dodd, Mike Dodd, Lupe and Cynthia Sandoval and Melanie and
Erin; Delbert and Nell Hooten, Joe, B.J. Jimmie and Cody Hooten, Gerald
and Angie Hooten, Billy Wayne, Kathy and Lisa Wilks, Gene, Pat, Chris and'
Steven Clark; all of Sulphur Springs.
Those attending from out of town included Kenneth and Helen Dodd of
Lone Oak, Joe and Barbara Dodd of Irving, Paul, Dianne, Trevor and Skye
Tacker and Sybil Tacker of Duncanville; Paul, Donna and Trace Her-

reminiscing, taking pictures and looking at a photo album containing pic-
tures of ancestors dating back to the 1800s.

The Bullock family met Sunday, June 8, at the T and N Park near Lone
Star for a family reunion.
Those attending from Sulphur Springs included E.C. and Christine Gillem,
Jerry D. Gillem, Stephen and Kathryn, Bill and Jeannie Lockhart, Bruce,
Bryan and Brock.

Building for their annual family reunion.

The descendants of Roy and Maggie Phillips met Sunday, June 22, at the
Civic Center for their eighth annual family reunion. The two oldest children,
Harvey Philips and Edith Philips Clemons, were honored.
Seven children, 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren attended.
Special guests included Ima Passons and son Jimmy Woodard and children
of Sulphur Springs; William and Gladys Philips of Claira, Okla., Mike j
Nordin and children and J.T. and Freda Nordin of Sulphur Springs; Audrey
Krenstmann of Dallas and Betty and Joe Howk of Cameron.
Awards were presented to the oldest member attending, Ima Passons,
who refused to give her age;-the youngest member, two-year-old Robert
Cronemeyer; the family-traveling the.fartherest, Dan, Sue aqd Josh Walton
of Charlotte, N.C.; and the family with the most members attending,
Maedell Stout with 12 members attending. ,

The annual Green and McCool family reunion was held Saturday and

A hamburger and hot dog cookout was' held Saturday night, and a basket
lunch was served at noon Sunday.

Lance Ragan, a 1986 graduate of Sulphur Springs High School, was
honoredwith two parties during June.

Table decorations carried out the honoree’s school colors of blue and gold.
Assorted cookies and cakes were served along with four flavors of
homemade icecream.
