Most grandmothers get to
babysit with their grandchildren
but during the coldest spell last
w eek. Frank brought a baby calf
in almpst frozen to death. I got
blankets and w rapped it up and
put it in mv bedroom. After alot
of rubbing and working with it.
it came to life with a bang. It
was another cold night and
Frank said he didn't have a
place to put it. So it spent the
night with me. Leldon and I
didn’t get much sleep, but we
got alot of good laughs whrn the
calf got tip and said "BA Ba" all
night. The calf is fine and with
its mother now . Frank and Rita
paid me back bv working two
days on our water situation. It
had been freezing up all time.
Our sympathy is with the
Raymon Vaughn family in the
loss of her sister, Miss Ann
Cathy. The children were home
during that time, the Wilbur
Stocktons of Dallas and the Dag
Pendletons of Stephenville. Mr.

At 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 2,
O-PLUS Direct Distance Dialing, (DDD)
will be available to all customers in the
Dublin service area. This service is the second
phase of the DDD cutover which began
June, ,1976.
O-PLUS is a simple way to dial your opera-
tor assisted long distance calls. Dial "O"
plus the area code (if different from your
own) plus the number. An operator will
come on tlje line and you will then tell
her if the call is person-to-person,
billed-to-third party, credit card call or
collect. This method of O-PLUS dialing is
quicker and easier for your calling
convenience.
Customers on multiple and four-party lines
will still give the operator their number
as they make a call.
