Danny Yates of Dublin has been named to "Who's
Who Among Students in American Junior Colleges,"
according to an announcement by John Muller, Dean of
Student Life at Cisco Junior College
Mr Muller commented that "the thirty-seven students
of Cisco Junior College who have been named.....to
Who s Who represent some of our very finest on the
campus It is quite an honor to be listed in this
prestigious book Campus nominating committees and

The American Legion and Auxilary Christmas covered
dish dinner will be held in the Hall December 10th
at 5 p.m. Rev. Gerald Freeman will bring the Christmas
story and Bob-Traweek will sing accompanied by Hope
Stephens at the piano
There will be a tree and exchange of gifts Ladies

Turkey and dressing and drinks will be furnished bv the

Band Boosters Meeting
There will be a Band
Boosters meeting on Dec.
7th at 7 30 p.m in the
First Grade Program
Mrs Lamkes first grade class had a Thanksgiving
program Wednesday. November 25
Afterwards, the children, along with Mrs Everett s first
grade class, all participated in cutting fruit to make
fruit salad to eat when they came back from the nufsing
home
The 65 children went to visit Dublin Nursing Home and
Golden Age Nursing Home later that afternoon.

Arrangements for the daily
schedule were made at a
call meeting of the board at
the library Tuesday, with
Mrs. Hasrrell presiding
Librarian Carolyn Holden
reported that circulation
more than doubled during
the summer and early fa.t
months when the library was
open daily, as an added
convenience to readers
Readers are also invited
to check the reference
shelves at the library, which
provide easy access to in-
formation on a wide range
of subjects, slates the
librarian
Demonstration of the new
micro film reader scanner
was made for the board by
the librarian at the meeting
The scanner provides access
to back copies of the Dublin
Progress
The board voted to charge
35 cents per copy for print
outs, to defray operation
costs
Gifts to the library in
memory of Mrs D B (Grace)
Nichols, former library board
officer; and Mrs H.L (Hattie
Ruth) White were applied to
the purchase of the scanner,
which is dedicated to them,
states Mrs Harrell
