(Billy) Keith have been at the
bedside of their mother, Mrs.
Otha Fulberg, in the Dublin
Hospital since Wednesday
night. She was a little better,
Sunday, but not as well as
they would like to see.
Archie and Billye Singleton
visited Tuesday afternoon
with Mr. and Mrs. Orval Fair
and John Pat.
Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Couch
and children visited during
the weekend with her pa-
rants, Mr. and Mrs. Barks-
dale Mathis. They also
attended church with them at
Highland, Sunday.
"The Highlanders” put on
a program and attended the
services at the Worth Baptist
Church in Fort Worth, Satur-
day night. Those making the
trip were, Billy Keith, Janie
and Travis Barnes, Bette and
Phil House, Robert Keith,
Garon, Rhonda and Zack
House, and Norma Nell
House.
Mr. and Mrs. Tom McCand-
less from Stephenville, spent
Sunday with her sister, Mr.
and Mrs. Philip Keith.

Saturday night with their
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.

Ruby Lee and Steve Harri-
son and son Jay Ion from
Farris (near Dallas) spent the
weekend with her parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Keith
and family.
John, Burlene and Lori
Nichols from Rankin, attend-
ed church at Round Grove
Sunday. They also visited his
grandmother, Gladis Nichols
and his brother, Mr. and Mrs
Keith Nichols.
Sorry to hear that Colen
Thompson, daughter of Mrs.
Gladis Nichols, is in the
hospital at Clifton. She and
John, her husband, live at
Hico.
On our return trip to the Dr.
in Brownwood last Monday,
Orval and I stopped in
Comanche and visited with
Earnest Ellison who moved to
Comanche from Lubbock.
They hadn’t seen each other
since they were children.

rick from De Leon visited
their grandparents, Mr. and
Mrs. Onie Keith Thursday
afternoon. Mrs. Johnnie Tun-
nell from Victor also visited
with them.

Saturday night with his sister,
Mr. and Mrs. Orval Fair and

urday afternoon with the

Terry Morris, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Charley Morris
of Brownwood, spent from
Tuesday until Thursday night
with her grandparents, Mr.
and Mrs. Onie Keith. Terry
was recuperating from sur-
gery but war able to go back
to school, Monday.
Peanut Harvest is in full
swing in the community and
surrounding area. 1 think
every field had a combine in it
when we drove out that way

Class
Meets
Busy womens class met for a
covered dish luncheon Wed-
nesday at the church. They
enjoyed a lot of good visiting
as well as a delicious meal.
This is the oldest class in the
church, and for years their
luncheons were with an all
day quilting. Quilts were sold
and the money was used for
needy purposes and as gifts.
The group sang their theme
song "The More J/Ve Get
Together,” and "Happy
Birthday”, to Lenora Frazier.
The hostesses were Ama
Stockton and Lenora Frazier.

Gather At Homeplace
Stephenville, Texas and Mrs.
Scharlene Starling of San
Diego, Ca. A turkey dinner
with ail the trimmings was
enjoyed by all. Pictures of
each family were made and
lovely time was enjoyed by
all.
The family of W.L. Gee
gathered at the home place in
Edna Hill on Sunday, Octo-
ber 1, 1978 to celebrate his
belated 77th birthday. This
was the first year the twins,
Lois and Latos hadn’t cele-
brated their birthdays to-
gether. A special prayer was
said by Wilber Jumey in
memorv of those who have
passed on and for those who
were unable to attend. All the
children of Mr. and Mrs.Gee
were there and all but one
son-in-law and two grand-

Monday, the exercise group
was in full swing by mid
morning with eye, hand and
leg exercises.
Monday Bible Class was by
Rev. Vem Cook. His message
was enjoyed by several
residents.
Tuesday - the Sing-a-long
was great and we appreciate
this faithful group. Juanita
Jones leading the singing,
Mae Pickett at the piano and
Odetla Pair, Elsie Ross, Eula
Voight, Easter Johnson, fol-
lowed by a watermelon
slicing. The melons were
enjoyed by residents. Many
thanks to Bonnie McKinnen
for the nice watermelons.
Wednesday Doris Wall pro-
vided records and tapes which
everyone enjoys. Film
by the Gay Sisters at 3:00 was
indeed a treat we appreciate
having the Clay Sister show
film. Also Golden Age Manor
provided two vans to take the
residents to watch the Fair
Parade. Clara Burns, Ruth

Dovie Glover, Adah Sangster,
Lydia Anderson, Cora Cath-
