SERVICE RECOGNIZED—Andrew McFadden, left, of Clifton, rub-
ber goods and meter tester for Community Public Service Company,
received a gold lapel pin with two diamonds in recognition of his 15
years of service with the power company during ceremonies at an em-
ployee dinner held in Clifton on December 21.
Mr. McFadden accepts congratulations from Cecil P. Coston of Clif-
ton, manager of the company’s Central Texas Division. The 15-year man
began his CPS career as an extra lineman’s helper in Clifton in IMS
and came on the regular payroll in 1948. in 1953, he was transferred to
Hico as power plant operator and rubber goods tester when the testing
facility was located in that city. The testing lab was moved to Clifton
in 1960, and Mr. McFadden was transferred here at that time to operate
the rubber goods laboratory.

Mr. Ralph's Brother
Dies In Brownsville
Charles Ralph, aged 57, of
Brownsville, died suddenly in that
city as the result of a heart attack
on Thursday morning, January 2.
He was a brother of T. H. Ralph,
of Clifton.
Funeral services for Mr. Ralph
were held at 3:00 o'clock on Sat-
urday afternoon, January 4, at the
Darling Funeral Home In Browns-
ville, with interment following in
the Brownsville Cemetery.
Mr. Ralph is survived by his
wife; three brothers; and four sis-
ters.
Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Ralph, accom-
panied by his brother, Orville
Ralph, of Red Wash, Utah, went to
Brownsville last Friday night and
attended the funeral services last
Saturday afternoon. They returned
to Clifton Sunday night. Orville
Ralph returned to Utah Tuesday of
this week.
Guests during the holidays in
the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Lar-
son were their children and their
families—Kenneth Larson, of Dal-
las. Mr. and Mrs. O. J. Jenson and
children, Sharon and Steve, of Mid-
land, Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Stanford
and daughter, Debbie, of Waco, and
Dickie Larson, a student at Tarle-
ton State College in Stephenville.

dinner were Mrs. Hulda Wagner
and Mr. and Mrs. Ledor Larson and
