Married Nov. 27
At Trinity Church
Of interest to their many
friends in Clifton was the marri-
age of Bunny Sue, a daughter of
Mrs. Alvilda Orbeck, of 415 Ave-
nue N in Clifton, and Mr. Oscar
Wilson, a son of Mrs. Jack Wil-
son, of 511 Sunset Avenue in this
city, which was solemnized at 7.30
o’clock on Friday night, Novem-
ber 27, at the Trinity Lutheran
Church here.
Reverend Erwin If. Knitt, pas
tor of the church,officiated dur
ing the nuptials.
The bride was given in marri-
age by her brother, Mr. Joe Or-
beck, Attending the bridal couple
as maid of honor and best man,
respectively, were the bride's cou-
sin, Miss Judy Orr, of Austin,
and the groom’s cousin, Mr. John
Magness, of Edinburg. Mr. Tim
Orr, of Austin, also a cousin of
the bride, served as candlelighter.
Mrs. Pasty Ruth Lancaster, or-
ganist, rendered the “Wedding
March”.
Reception Follow*
Following the wedding a recep-
tion was held in the home of the
bride's mother.
Presiding at the bridal guest
hook during the reception was
Mrs. Ruth McLemore, and serving
at the bridal reforshment table
were Mrs. Arthur Pederson and
Miss Phyllis Israel, the latter of
Austin.

A graduate of Clifton High
School, the bride was employed
with the Farmers State Bank in
this city prior to her marriage
The groom, who is a graduate of
Kemper Military Academy in Mis-
souri, presently is attending North
Texas State University in Denton
He will receive his degree there
in late January.
At the present time Mr. and
Mrs. Wilson are at home in Den-
ton. Following his graduation they
will return to Clifton to make
their permanent home.

the home of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Cor-
pier were Mr. and Mrs. Blondell
Woolridge, of Hillsboro.
Mr. and Mrs. Roy King, of Fort
Worth, visited here last Saturday
night and Sunday with Mr. and
Mrs. W. B. Oswsld. Mrs. King and
Mrs. Oswald at one time were
roommates when they both taught
in the Mercedes Public Schools.
