Odell, cousin of the bride, and Craig
Craver. The wedding registry was
attended by Lindsey McClure, who
greeted each guest as they entered the
church

vided by Ann Blair, organist and
FJavid Foy. who sang. When Love

Stars "
Following the ceremony, the
bride s parents hosted a reception in
the Activities Building. Members of
the houseparty included Donna and
Melody Nunns, [usa and l.indsey
McClure and Lola and Jessica Van-
landtngham. Kathy Hall and I.aJuana
Young.
The bride’s cake was a four-layered
confection with columns separating
the layers Topping the cake were
stargazer lilies with roses, greenery
and baby's breath, lavishing cascad-
ing Fretween layers The silver punch
service was on one end of the table
along with homemade mints, bowls
of mixed nuts and a stargazer lily cen-
terpiece
The groom's table followed the tra-
ditional theme with a double tiered
confection of chocolate topped with
fresh strawberries The table also had
a silver coffee service and silver travs
of mixed nuts
The reception was further enhanced
by abundant Iruit tables with water
melon, cantaloupe, honey dew mel-
ons and pineapple baskets filled w ith
an array of grapes. melon trails and
dip An assortment ol cheese and veg-
etable trays also accompanied the
fruit table
Sadie Johnson and Cortney Sellers
handed out birdseed at the reception
before the couple left for their wed-
ding trip
The bride is a 1997 graduate of
Stephen F Austin Slate University
with a bachelor's degree in business
management
The groom is also a 1997 graduate
of Stephen F. Austin State University
with a bachelor's degree in science
and kinesiology. He plans a teaching
career in the Longview area where
they plan to make then home.
