Southern Methodist University cam-
pus in Dallas. Dr. Burt Affleck offi-

The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Don McKinnemey of
Malakoff. She is the granddaughter
of Dollie Goldsmith of Sulphur
Springs.
The groom is the son of Jane
Liberi of Detroit, Mich., and the late
Robert Eugene Liberi. He is the
grandson of R.E. Zinsmasters of
Naples, Fla.
Given in marriage by her father,
the bride wore an original design of
bridal satin that featured a portrait
collared sheath with a detachable
train. The collar was adorned with
Alencon lace, pearls and iridescent
sequins.
The sheath was straight and fea-
tured a mermaid bottom edged with
lace and beads. The long sleeves j
were satin, net encrusted with pearls |
and sequins.
The matching headpiece featured
lace, pearls and sequins fashioned
into a headband with puffed netting
around the crown with a fingertip
veil.
To complete her ensemble the |
bride carried an exotic crescent free-
form cascade of freesia, white den-
drobium, white tulips and hot pink
bouvwardia.
Julie Bratcher of Columbus,
Miss., attended as matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Kristine Wells of
Dallas and Rhonda Munks of Dal-
las.
Attendants wore formal gowns
featuring gold taffeta bodices with
dropped waistlines and straight
black velvet skirts.
They wore dyed-to-match slippers
and carried bouquets of calla lilies,
dendrobiums and bourvwardia.
Keith Green of Bloomfield Hills,
Mich., served as bestman. Grooms-
men were Al Weiner of Rochester,
Minn., and Chris Sieders of Dallas.
Ushers included Donnie NJcKinner-

Immediately following the cere-
mony, a buffet reception was hosted
by the bride’s parents at Belo Man-
sion. Potted palms and other tropical
green plants added to the decor of
the reception area. The bride’s table
was covered with gold lame’ and
greenery. Large arrangements
accented the serving table in the atri-
um of the mansion.
The four-tiered wedding cake was
decorated with ivory sugar-spun
lilies of the valley and garlands of
sugar-spun scallops. Doves adorned
the top of the cake. The groom’s
cake was a chocolate confection
decorated with chocolate-dipped
strawberries and lattice-work icing.
The bride is a 1983 graduate of
Ugh

bachelor of business administration
in finance. She is a cost accountant
with Texas Instruments of Dallas.
The groom is a 1987 graduate of
Michigan State University where he
received a bachelor of science
degree in engineering. He is
employed by ION, Inc., of Dallas as
a sales representative.
Following a wedding trip to Puer-
to Vallarta, Mexico, the couple will
reside in Dallas.

The Sulphur Springs Area Retired
Teachers met Tuesday, March 10, at
K-Bob’s Steakhouse for a luncheon
meeting.
Mavie Smith, president, called the
meeting to order with Ramond
Fitzgerald giving the opening prayer.
Fay Hargrave led the group in singing
God Bless America. Murrell Duna-
hoo led the pledge to the American
flag and Migsfon Greer gave the
financial report! Era Bartlett read the
minutes of the last meeting.
There will be a workshop Wednes-
day, April 22, in Winnsboro. A meal
will be served.
Mr. and Mrs. W.S. Long had the
most community service hours.
Texas Retired Teachers will have a
state meeting April 10-11 in Amaril-
lo.
Florene Adams, program chairman,
introduced the program. It consisted
of Fred Randles, minister of music at
First Baptist Church, his wife Jane
and daughter Natalie and Eydie Ginn
on piano. They sang several songs
from various decades. Songs included
Lou Ann Densmore, Geneva Basye,
Gwen Romans and Florene Irons.

regular session Monday, March 9, in
Sulphur Springs State Bank with
Rose Enlow presiding.
The Lord’s Prayer was recited in
unison.

Avinger, Rosalyn Massingill, Ruth-
mary Hall, Mary Wood and Claudia
Tyler.
Ruthmary Hdi gave a report on the
security control system to be installed
this week. The financial statement ■
was given by Maurine Avinger, trea-
surer. The memorial fund report was
given by Frances Blackburn and the
chapel fund report was given by
Claudia Tyler.
