Oscar Adair, 80, of Cumby
died at 6:45 pan. Wednesday at
Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Adair was born Sept 2$,
1900 in Hunt County to Charles
Varner and Rotha Olivia Orr
Adair.
He married Jewel Elsberry in
Cumby in September, 1920 and
she preceded him in death on
Jan. 5,1978.
Mr. Adair was a member of
the Cumby First Baptist
Church.
Services were conducted at 2
p.m. Friday in the Cumby First
Baptist Church with the Rev.
Robert Ridley officiating.
Burial was in the Cumby
Cemetery.
Survivors include a daughter,
Mrs. Wilma Delafield of
Cumby; three sons, George
Adair of Dike and Lee Adair
and Jimmy Adair, both of
Corpus Christi; nine grand-
children; seven great-
grandchildren and one great-
great-grandchild.
Mr. Adair was preceded in
death by four brothers.
Serving as pallbearers were

resident died Monday at a
Garland hospital.
She is survived by a son,
Monroe E. Swancy of Dallas.
Mrs. Swancy was preceded in
death by her husband; a son,
Andrew Swancy and a grand-
son, James Andrew who died in
Vietnam.
Dr. S.M. Hill
Final rites for Dr. S.M. Hill,
91, of Dallas were held Monday
afternoon at Sparkman-
Hillcrest Funeral Home in
Dallas.
The widely-known Dr. Hill
was a long-time member of
Sulphur Springs Country Gub,
where he maintained a cottage
and played golf often.
He was bom Jan. 15,1889. His
wife, the former Mary Dey
whom he married in 1914 in
Terrell, preceded him in death.
Survivors include a sister,
Mrs. E.S. (Mary Jane)
McLaughlin of Dallas, and
Eddie McLaughlin of Lake O'
the Pines and James
McLaughlin of Dallas.
Dr. Hill was co-founder and
owner of Sammuel Clinic in
Dallas and served on the
medical staff of St. Paul
Hospital in Dallas for more than
50 years.

Funeral services for Corean
Nabors of Fort Walton Beach,
Fla. were pending early in the
week.
She died Sunday at Fort
Walton Beach.
Survivors include her son,
Ambrose Lee Nabors of Florida
and a sister, Mrs. Thalia

Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Bristol
General Hospital in Dallas.
Mr. Graham was bom June
13,1920 in Yantis to Clayton J.
(Boy) and Bertie Warren
Graham.
He married Betty Ballard in
Kaufman on June 7,1941.
Mr. Graham was a veteran of
World War II, a member of the
Highland Park Priester
Masonic Lodge No. 1150
AF&AM and the County Line
Baptist Church in Yantis.
He was employed as sales
manager for the Vari-Typer
Corporation in Dallas.
Services were conducted at
2:30 p.m. Thursday at the
County Line Baptist Church
with the Rev. Dale Osborn
officiating. Masonic graveside
services were conducted at the
Yantis Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife;
his mother, of Yantis; a
daughter, MTs. Andra Beth
Oyler of Houston; two sisters,

Bill Junior Titsworth, 48, of

Branch, died in the Brookhaven
Hospital in Dallas Friday.
He was bom July 22, 1932 iq,
Hopkins County, the son of
William Foster and Rose Lee
Coffman Titsworth. He married
the former Fay Inell Stunkard
April 10,1953 in Delta County.
A member of the Baptist
church, he was a machinist and
had lived in Fanners Branch
for about five years.
He is survived by his wife; his
mother; and daughters Laura
Nell Plascencia and Lisa Lynne
Titsworth, all of Farmers
Branch.
Other survivors include
brothers Aubrey Titsworth of
Peerless and William Titsworth
of Whitney; sisters, Flora Bell
Owen of Cooper and Adell
Vandagriff of Farmers Branch;
and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were con-

March 8,1938.

him in death in April, 1980.

Friday for Mrs. Blanche Jones
of Fort Worth.
Mrs. Jones died late Wed-
nesday evening.

at the Forest Park Cemetery in

members of the cast. Tickets
for the Friday night per-
formance cost $4, with tickets
for the Saturday night dinner-
theater show costing $11.
Arbor Day kits offered
To help teachers and
organization conduct more
meaningful Arbor Day
programs, the Texas Forest
Service is offering free
program kits.
Each kit includes a loblolly
pine seed packet with planting
instructions, program aids for a
local Arbor Day observance,
suggested classroom activities
for teachers, and a copy of
Governor Clements’
proclamation.
Quantity is limited. Only one
kit per teacher or organization
will be distributed. V
