the Eastern Star Home in
Arlington.
Mrs. Farler was born Oct 14,
1889 in the Oakland community
to W.J. and Beulah Smith
Davis.
She married Hamp Farler in
1908.
Mrs. Farler was a member of
the Order of the Eastern Star
Chapter No. 718 and the
Methodist church.
Services were conducted at 10
a.m. Thursday in the Pirn-
berson Funeral Home in Frisco
with graveside rites at 2:90 p.m.
Thursday at the Ridgeway
Cemetery.
Survivors include two step-
children, Mrs. Dalton Herman
of Sulphur Springs and Leo
Hendrickson of Greeley, Colo.;
two sisters, Mrs. Betty Prim of
Commerce and Mrs. Bill Farler
of Frisco; and a brother, Joe
Davis of Gross Valley, Calif.
She was preceded in death by
her husband and three children.

Anderson in Delta County.
Mr. Anderson was a retired
transportation supervisor for
the Brownfield Independent
School District. He was a
member of the Masonic lodge in
Brownfield and also the Scottish
Rite. He was a member of the
First United Methodist Church
in Brownfield.
He was married to Ima
Chapman Sept. 20,1930 in Hugo,
Okla.
Survivors include his wife; a
son, Jerry Anderson of
I*fayette, La.; two daughters,
Mrs. Betty Lewis of Monahans
and Mrs. Jane Ivey of Fair
field; two brothers, Monroe
Anderson of Cooper and John
Anderson of Sulphur Springs;
two sisters, Mrs. Dowe Bays
and Mrs. Charles Mayo, both of
Sulphur Springs; four grand-
children; and two great-
grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at
2 p.m. Thursday at Tapp
Funeral Home, with the Rev.
Travis Lee Darby and the Rev.
Ken Hildebrand officiating.
Burial followed in Restlawn
Memorial Park.
Thomas Dendy
Thomas A. Dendy, 69, died
Wednesday at Hoemako
Hospital in Eloy, Aria. The
retired engineer with Western
Compress was born Aug. 11,
1910 in De Leon, Texas and lived
there for 34 years.
Final rites were held at 3 p.m.
Saturday in the First Southern
Baptist Church with the Rev.
Hairy D. Brooks officiating.
Burial was in Mountain View
Cemetery near Casa Grande.
Mr. Dendy, who was an
honorary member of the Eloy
Fire Department, Woodmen of
the World and held membership
in the Baptist Church in Sulphur
Springs, Texas, is survived by
his wife, Inez; two daughters,
Neva Kirland of Casa Grande
and Betty Adams of Gilbert;
three sisters, Willie Calabreese
of Gray Lakes, HI; Edith
Purser of Clarksville, Texas,
and Addie Beadles of Denton,
Texas; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services for
Margaret Ann Cameron, 96, of
Rockwall were held at 3 p.m.
Sunday at the W.Y. Goff Chapel
with the Rev. Luther A. Hill of
Dallas officiating.
Miss Cameron was born Feb.
14, 1885 in the Mount Zion
community of Hopkins County
to John Curtis and Missouri
Burns Cameron. A retired
nurse, she was a member of the
Central Church of the Nazarene
in Dallas.
Burial was in the Mount Zion
Cemetery with Johnny
Cameron, Jimmy Cameron,
Bill Funderburk, Don Cameron,
Rex Cameron and Jim Conway
as pallbearers.
She is survived by several
nieces and nephews.
Miss Cameron died May 29 at
a Rockwall nursing home.
Greenville, with the Rev. Doyle
D. SumraH officiating. Burial
was in Memory land Memorial
Park.
Mrs. Callahan was born April
15,1923 in Sulphur Springs. She
was the daughter of Andy T.
Rushin and Lillie Pearl Combs.
Her husband, Edgar Charles
(Soapy) Callahan, preceded her
in death on May 9,1979. She was
a member of the First Baptist
Church.
Survivors are her father,
Andy T. Rushin of Yantis; step-
sons Steve and Ed Callahan,
both of Lake Arrowhead, Calif.;
brothers O.T. Rushin of Wylie
and J.A. and David Rushin,
both of Edgewood; sisters, Mrs.
Alice Burnett of Yantis, Mrs.
Dorthy Ann Cagle and Mrs.
Bobbie Sue Campbell, both of
Tyler; and three grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Callahan were
the former owners of White Star
Laundry and Cleaners in
Greenville.
Clyde Gardner
Services were held Friday for
Clyde Gardner, 67, at the
Bushnell Church of Christ in
Bushnell, Fla.
Mr. Gardner, a retired
master sergeant in the U.S. Air
Force, died Tuesday at the
Veterans Hospital in
Gainesville, Fla.
He was the son of Walter and
Etta Gardner and was reared in
the Dike community where he
attended school at Ash Grove
and at Dike.
Survivors include his wife,
the former Fannie Horton; a
son, USAF Lt Col. Clyde
Gardner Jr. of Montgomery,
Ala.; a half-brother, Royce
Martin of San Jose, Calif.; a
step-sister, Addie Hammonds of
Dallas; three step-brothers,
John Martin and Bert Martin,
both of Sulphur Springs and
Edgar Martin of Bakersfield,
Calif.

Mark Waldrep of Granbury; six

a.m. at Memorial Hospital.
He was bom June 23,1903 in
Wall City, Ark. to Jack H. and
Dora Yall Mills.
Mr. Mills married Ethel Mae
Phillips in Commerce on Sept.
10, 1927. She preceded him in
death on April 30,1975.
He was a member of the
Wesley Methodist Church,
International Order of Odd
Fellows and the Rebekah
Lodge.
Services were conducted at
2:30 p.m. Friday in the Tapp
Funeral Chapel with the Rev.
George Topper officiating.
Burial was in Greenview

John and Julia Oldham Wright.
She married John Stracener
in Hopkins County on Dec. 14,
1935.
Mrs. Stracener was a
member of the Baptist church.
