In Houston as ths guest of her
daughter and family, Mr. and
Mrs. Hayes Gage.
Mrs. Ray Maxwell returned
home Simday after two weeks in
Rosenberg making her acquain-
tance with her first grandson,
James Kevin Booth and visit-
ing her daughter, Mrs. Tray
Booth. Mr. Booth and Janoda
Kay and Mr. Maxwell motored
to Rosenberg for the weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Jackson
and children, Manila Gky and
Juanita of Longview spent the,
weekend with her mother, Mrs.
Eva Cole and Jerrel Dean.
Mrs. Nets Fritz of Pasadena
spent last week here with her
parents, Mr. and Mrs, Albert
Creel.
Tammy Lawrence of Houston
spent last week with her grand-
parents, Mr. and Mrs.Jack Ko-
wis and family. Tammy’s par-
ents, Mr. and Mr*. Clay Law-

Are Wed In Crockett Cburcb Rites
Mr. and Mrs. James A.
Glove*, are at home to Conroe
following their wedding trip to
Kervlile. They were married
Saturday, September 4 at the
Fint Presbyterian Church to
Crockett.
The bride, the former Mias
Susan Craddock, to the daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas
Drayton Craddock of Crockett.
The bridegroom to the son of
B. A. Glover of Livingston and
the late Mrs. Dorothy Evans
Glover.
The double-ring candlelight
ceremony was performed by
Rev. Andrew Byers. Wedding
music was presented by Mrs.
J. E. Christopher, soloist, and
lira. W. A. Collins, organist,
both of Crockett.
Given to marriage by her
father, the bride wore ■ gown
of white silk organza with ap-
pliques to t mimosa pattern.
It was fashioned with an
empress bodice, portrait neck-
line, ctuplet sleeves, and an
a-line skirt which swept into
a circular court length train.
Her veil of tulle was chapel
length. She carried her bridal
bouquet atop a lace-covered
Bible which had been carried
by both her sisters to their
weddings. She wore as her only
jewelery a diamond drop, a
gift of the bridegroom.
The church was decorated
in muses of white dowers
against t background of native
greenery. A garland of huckle-
berry marked the choir rail
