Cardinal Sinfers of Lamar
University will perform at the
Council's Annual Recogni-
tion Dinner on Monday
night, January 24. 1077 at
7:00 p.m. at the Red Carpet
Inn in Beaumont.
One of the highlights of
the evening will be the
presentation of the Silver
Beaver Awards. The Silver
Beaver is the highest award
made through the local coun-
cil to volunteer leaders in
that council by the National
BSA Council. The awards are
made for noteworthy service
of exceptional character to
boyhor 1 by registered Scoo-
ters withir the territory un-
der the jurisdiction of the
Three Rivers Council. Boy
Scouts of America
The 1977 Council officers
will also be presented at the
banquet, and a special pre-
sentation will be made of
importance to all Scouters.
* All adult scouters in the
Three Rivers Council are
invited to attend with their
spouses. Tickets are avail-
able at the Dishman Center
(4650 Cardinal Drive) or by
calling 842-5240 or 735-2836
to make a reservation.
