Lions Doff Hats
To Palmer Ladies
A Lion without a roar is about
as ineffective as a General with-
out Troops A General minus his
men cannot win Battles and a
Lion withoua a roar cannot per-
form duties for his Community.
Therefore, we should like to
explore one of the most impor-
tant elements that keeps the
Lions of Palmer in true ’ Roar-
ing" form Aside from their
normal animal instinct which
our Lions are gifted with, we
believe one of the greatest fac-
tors in their continued Roar-
ing is the Delicious food that
is always waiting to calm their
, appetites before each Lion meet-
ing. The Ladies of our Town
seem to go all out to prepare
food fit for a King and served in
these cases to the King of the
Beast TDK PALMER
LIOINS”.
This lood prepared witd deli-
cate femminc hands serves two
vital parts. (1) It brings our
Lions out each meeting night
hungerly anticipating a meal to
remember And (2» It satisfy's
their hunger and stimulates
their desire to tackle bigger and
better projects for our commun-
ity
To these ladies who perform
this task without fanfare or pub-
licity we say—Your Food is
Good—Your serving is Magnifi-
ficant—and Your Presence is
Inspiring.

members and other social and
civic clubs of our town as well as
many civic minded citizens
Every person attending last
years carnival seemed to have
had a really enjoyable time Yet
we know that some of you max
have thought NOW IF THEY
HAD JUST ADDED SO AND SO
OR MADE THIS A LITTLE DIF-
FERENT IT WOULD BE BET-
TER Those things that we
should have done last year and
did nni are the things that we
want to know about now in plan-
ning this year's carnival Much
thought, planning and time is
put into every carnival, however,
we still overloked some things
Therefore, to avoid overlokmg
anything this year, we want
your suggestions and ideas as to
how we can make this the best
event Palmer has ever had.
Our Homecoming Carnival is
to be enjoyed, and for you to
enjoy them, we want to have
everything possible for you*-
pleasure. We ask that you give
us a helping hand in planning
this year’s activities.
Please address these ideas and
suggestions to Box 103 Palmer.
