9Stagecoach to Fury1
Opens Tuesday At
Plaza Theatre
Seven adventures meet in tiu>
greatest challenge of their lives
when they are held hostage bv
a gold-seeking, ruthless group
of Mexican bandits in the Reg-
alscope production ••Stagecoach
To Fury,” which debuts Tues-
day at the Plaza.
Forrest Tucker, as an ex
Cavalry officer ridng shotgun on
a stage coach, and Mari Blan-
chard. as a beautiful schemer
who arranged her husband's
death so she could abscond with
his money are starred in this
Western drama with Wallace
Ford, Rudolfo Hovos. Paul Fix
Rico Alaniz. Wright King and
Margia Dean.
All except Moves, who is the
leader of the Mexican outlaws,
are passengers on the stage-
coach when it is held up. Tin-
bandits seek a shipment ol gov-
ernment gold but when they
find it is not aboard the stage,
they hold all the passengers as
hostages until it arrives on an-
other coach, litis dramatic sit-
uation gives the passengers time
for reflection and a chance to
reexamine their true selves.
Kurd portrays a cowardly judge;
King, a professional gunslinger;
Alaniz, a vicious killer; and
Dean, Tucker’s fiancee. H o w
these people cope with this sus-
pensoful predicament after re
viewing their past actions pro
t ides a fast-act ion surprise con-
elusion to the unusual plot of
the film.
