wedding anniversary.
Much Interest was manifest Tues-
day at the business meeting of Dav-
idson Orove 89 Woodmen Circle
when newely elected District Presi-
dent Mrs Clyde Dent discussed plans
and possibilities for the Four Leaf
Clover district convention to be
held here the first Thursday in Oc-
tober with the local Grove hostess.
President Dent was elected to this
honorary office when the conven-
tion was held in Cleburne last
April. Several other district officers
were chosen from Davidson Grove.
Mrs. All Warren will serve as at-
tendant. Mrs. Robert McDowall as
reporter and Mrs. E. C. Oates as
musician.
The Four Leaf Clover district was
consolidated with the Shugart dis-
trict several years ago and cover-
ed the Sherman-Denison area When
the conventions were held at those
cities it necessitated inconveniences
for the, Hill, Navarro. Johnson and
Ellis Counties attending. So the
Shugart Four Leaf Clever district
has been severed and each resort to
their former jurisdiction and
names. The Four Leaf Clover Dis-
trict and the Lena Shugart District.

Aid l o Shopping
Grocery shopping, stops at the
cieaneis and other expedition? are
a daily duty for many home man-
agers. While some women file such
chores away in their minds, the ma
jonty must resort to penciled notes
to keep abreast of their jobs.
To insure timely messages and
lists being kept in a handy spot,
many housewifes keep a bulletin
board attached to the kitchen wall
foi such notes The bulletin board
is simple to instill on a couple of
the new self-adhering plastic hooks
from tho variety store. These
unique hooks have a special adhe-
sive backing which sticks to ary
plaster, tile, wood or glass surface.
Known as Selfix. because they’re
seh-aflxing, these hooks actually
ix themselves to any smooth, clean
surface without benefit of nails or
screws therefore won't gouge holes
in walls.
They are available in 5 popular
colors—white .red, yellow, green,
and black—to match or contrast
with most kitchen color schemes.
