Iredell
Three positions will be filled on
the Iredell ISD Board of Trustees in
the May 7 election. The three-year
terms of Paul Wooton and Sharon
Gephart are expiring. A trustee will
also be chosen to Fill a one-year
unexpired term presently held by
Gary Robinson
Applications may be obtained in
the superintendent's office. Voting
will take place May 7 in the high
school cafeteria
As of March 10, two persons had
filed for positions on the ballot:
• Incumbent Gary Robinson, 38, a
bookkeeper.
• Orren Linton, 62, retired.

Kopperl
As of last week, four candidates
had filed for the two positions on the
Kopperl ISD Board of Trustees The
three-year terms of Board President
Douglas Runyon and Trustee Paul
Barton are expiring
Applications are available at the
school's tax office. Voting will take
place May 7 at the tax office
Those filing for a ballot position
include
• Billy Jack Calahan. 37, a meat
market supervisor.
• Billy Ray Hall. 35. employed in
maintenance with Rubbermaid
• Renee Carlson. 27, an airplane
bonder with LTV.
• Terrv Broome. 39, a fireman
Meridian
Two three-year terms on the
Meridian ISD Board of Trustees will
be filed in the May 7 election, as the
terms of Trustees Paul Murphey III
and Debbie Kibler are expiring in
May
Candidates may apply in the MISD
administration building. Voting will
be held at the Meridian Fire
Department on May 7 from 7 a m to
7 p.m.
As of late last week, only one
incumbent had filed in the election
• Paul Murphy III. 41, a rancher.
Morgan
No candidates had filed as of
March 10 for the four positions
available on the Morgan ISD Board
of Trustees.
The three-year terms of Trustees
Dee Clark and Joyce Shannon are
expiring. Trustees will also be
elected to fill a two-year unexpired
term, presently vacant, and a one-
year unexpired term presently held
by Harland Pinnell.
Applications may be obtained from
the school administration office.
Voting will take place from 7 a m. to
7 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, in the
Morgan community center.
Valley Mills
Four positions are available on the
Valley Mills ISD Board of Trustees,
as the three-year terms of Trustee
Jack Filler, Joyce Edmond, and Dick
Owens are expiring.
A trustee will also be elected to fill
a one-year unexpired term presently

filled by Gerry Moore.
Applications are available at the
administration office on the high
school campus The office is closed
this week due to spring break, but
will resume normal hours on
Monday, March 21. Voting will take
place from 7 a m. to 7 p.m. on
Saturday, May 7, at Valley Mills
City Hall.
As of last Thursday, two persons
had filed applications for a ballot
position
• Incumbent Jack Filler, 55, a
materials handler employed by
Allergan.
• Tommy Morgan, 49, a plumbing
contractor
Walnut Springs
No applications had been accepted
as of last Thursday for two positions
expiring on the Walnut Springs
Board of Trustees.
The three-years terms of Trustees
Eddie Garrett and Mike Huffman are
expiring.
Applications for a place on the
May 7 ballot may be obtained
weekdays from the school's office.
