Hold Convention
In Nacogdoches
A special program arranged
by the Watch Tower Society
for the forthcoming Circuit as-
sembly of Jehovah’s Witnesses
to be held in Nacogdoches, Feb.
2-4. at the Nacogdoches High
School will deal with the pre-
cariousness of the world situ-
ation. About 900 delegates are
expected to attend.
As announced by Horace V.
Madeley, presiding minister of
the Silsbee congregation, the
assembly theme will be,
“Strengthen One Another to
Stay in the Faith"—Acts 14:22
“While the world in general
scoffs and ridicules the Bible’s
warding,” Madeley said, “Je-
hovan's Witnesses take it seri
oualy and meet together to en-
courage one another in the
faith, to fortify themselves for
the future in order to survive
this world’s end.”
A two-hour program will be
presented Saturday evening, be-
ginning at 7 p. np, on “Forti-
fying Ourselves For the Fu-
ture" Talks, discussions and
dramatizations will be presen
ted by several ministers from
the 17 participating congrega-
tion attending the gathering.
“What Can We Do to Get
Ready?”, How Valuable Meet-
ings Are," “The Power Qi Pray -
er” and “Togetherness: the
Strengthening Tie” are subjects
that will be considered.
Madeley will address the as-,
sembly on the subject. “Con-
sider the Work Before Us.”
Madeley said that all sessions
are free and the public Is In-
