REQUEST FOR BIDS
The Bosque County Commissioner’s Court will be accepting
sealed bids for the purchase of Hot Mix-Cold Laid Asphaltic
Concrete pavement. Beginning at the time of bid award through June
30,2004.
Bidders shall provide a price “per ton” for Hot Mix-Cold Laid
Asphaltic Concrete material F.O.B. the vendors site. Should the
vendor have more than one production site, quotes shall include price
at each site or clearly state that quoted prices are good at any location.
BIDS SHALL PROVIDE FOR THE COUNTY TO FURNISH THE
OIL.
Materials shall conform to Texas Department of Transportation
specifications under Item 350.3 type “FF” found in the 1982 Standard
Specifications or Item 334.3 found in the 1995 Standard
Specifications.
Sealed bids marked “Cold Mix” shall be submitted to Betty
Outlaw, Bosque County Clerk, P.O. Box 617, Meridian, Texas 76665
no later than 9:00 a.m. on Monday, August 25. 2003. Bids submitted
after the above mentioned time will be returned unopened. Bids will
be opened at 9:30 a.m. of the same day in the Commissioner’s

Notice of opportunity to make comments or request a public
hearing is hereby given by the HEART OF TEXAS
COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS on the continuation of
rural public transportation (Section 5311) services within
Bosque County, Falls County, Freestone County, Hill
County, Limestone County, and McLennan County to
include the City of Axtell, City of Crawford, City of Mart,
City of McGregor, City of Moody, City of West and other
incorporated communities. Financial assistance to provide
this service is being sought from the Federal Transit
Administration and the Texas Department of Transportation.
Service will be for transportation to the general public, will
be demand response, and fares will be charged for service.
Written comments or a written request for a public hearing
are being accepted by the Heart of Texas Council of
