Dies In California
Funeral services were held
Jan. 9 in Valhalla Memorial
Park in Hollywood, Calif., for
Mrs. Vesey Clay, age 71, who
died Jan. 6 in the home of a
son, W. H. Clay in Reseda,
Calif.
She was born in Newton,
Texas, and was a lifelong resi-
dent of this area before going
to California 12 months ago to
make her home with a son. She
is a former resident of Silsbee
and lived for 12 years in Wood-
.ville,
Survivors include one other
son, W. L CnrTof Kou/itzc; her
mother, Mrs. Mary R. Hardy of
Newton and a sister, Mrs. Roy
Koenig of Kerrville.
