Minnie M. Russell
CORRIGAN Funeral services
for Minnie M. Russell, 69, of Cor-
rigan were held Monday, Sept. 29,
2001, from the Corrigan Funeral
Home Chapel, with the Rev. James
Brock officiating. Interment fol-
lowed in Union Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Russell was bom Jan. 25,
1932 in Groveton and died Saturday
morning, Sept. 22, in a Lufkin
hospital
1 y* She was a housewife and a mem-
2 •' ber of the First Baptist Church of
S Corrigan.

Survivors include her husband of
36 years, Simon Russell of Corri-
gan; stepsons, Jimmy Russell and
Donnie Ray Russell, both of
Lufkin; stepdaughter, Diane Collins
of Lufkin; sisters, Clara Burchfield
of Lufkin, and Audrey Spraybeny
and Jean Kennedy, both of Corri-
gan; seven grandchildren and one
great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Russell,
Donnie Ray Russell, Chuck
Burchfield, Milt Purvis and Mark
Richardson.

for Charles Ray Haynes, 53, of
Houston were held Monday, Sept.
^ 24, 2001, from the Duncan Funeral
^ Home Chapel, with the Rev. Craw-
§§ ford officiating. Interment followed
m Greenfield Cemetery.
«• f Mr. Haynes died Sept. 16, in
Oy:: Methodist Hospital, Houston.
He was born Sept. 1, 1948 in
» > Livingston, die son of Willie and
K Lucille Haynes, and attended Dun-
§ bar School.

Lucille Haynes of Houston;
brother, Willie Haynes of Conroe;
sisters, Dorthine Freeman of Hous-
ton, Mary Lou Haynes of Lufkin,
Mable Gardner of Houston, Callene
Haynes of Brenham, Francis
Haynes of Livingston and Betty
Karen Haynes of West Columbia;
grandmother, Rebecca Franklin of
Livingston; and a host of aunts,
uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers were nephews and
friends. Honorary pallbearers were
his brother and brothers-in-law.

Doyle Cowart Jr. of Lufkin; great-
granddaughters, June Nicole Smith
and Angela Kay Smith, both of
Lufkin; and numerous other rela-
tives and friends.
Cochran Funeral Home was in
charge of arrangements.
