Mr and Mrs. Ervin Aan, of
Route 2, Clifton, were entertained
with a housewarming in their new
home between the hours of 8:00
and 9:00 o'clock on Sunday after-
noon, March 28.
Hostesses for the housewarming
were Mesdames William Amund-
son, Harold Schulxe, Otis Cooper,
Orin Lund, and Jurgen Gaustad.
Mrs. Schulte greeted the guests
as they arrived, and Mias Vivki
Outlaw asked them to register in
the attractive guest book. During
the housewarming Mrs Amundson
and Mrs. Homer Erickson alter-
nated in taking the guests on a
tour of the new home.
Laid with a lace cloth, the re-
freshment table also held a beau-
tiful floral arrangement which was
flanked on each side by lighted
pink tapers in a two-pronged can-
dleholder. During the open house

Today, one of the most wide-
spread uses for safety pins is in
drycleaning for fastening tags
and hanging clothing. In fact
the British raised such a clamor
about stapling tags to garments
that the practice has virtually
disappeared. In America, too, the
use of safety pins has become
one symbol of the quality dry-
cleaner—a sign that your cloth-
ing is being handled with care.

that all present with the exception
of one were natives of Tex**, with
most having been born either in
Bosque County or one of its sur-
