Mr. Geo. M. Nichols, of Mor-
gan,* authorizes the Record to
place his name before the people
of Bosque county as a candidate
for the office Of Tax Assessor,
subject to the action of the dem-
ocratic primary in July 1906.
Mr. Nichols is an old citizen of
Bosque county, having won for
himself much honor and respect
by his honest and Christian life.
He is a man who is well qualified
for the office having served five
years as assistant assessor, and
at present assessing the tax
payers of the county. Having
known Mr. Nichols for a number
of years, we could not say any
thing of him But what would be
to his credit I

Mr. G. W. Turner, of Meridian
this week places his name before
the people of Bosque county as
a candidate for the office of
County Treasurer. ‘‘Willis,” as
he is generally known over the
county, is a man of high moral
character, honest and deserving.
He has held the office of county
surveyor for a number of terms,
and has discharged the duties of
said office in a most satisfactory
manner, there being no complaint
whatever, as far as we know;
which is an exception to the rule
in an office of this of this kind.
We commend him * the rojere
