On Wednesday morning about
11 o’clock. 8* H. Bates who was
assisting T. C. Bobo to out grass
on the Henry King place, near
Meridian, went to oatoh his mule,
when the animal kicked him, out-
ting him in the face and on the
head and rendering him unootr-
scious for some time. He was
brought to Meridian and taken
to the City Drug Store where Dra.
Alexander and Alexander drese-
ed the wounds. At last reports
he was getting along nicely.—
