ADJUSTMENT
The amount of each net month-
ly bill computed at the above
stated rates shall be subject to
the following adjustment: Plus an
amount equivalent to the propor-
tionate pail of any new tax, or
increased tax, or any other gov-
ernmental imposition, rental, fee
or charge (except state, county,
city and special district ad valor-
em taxes and taxes on net in-
come) levied, assessed or impos-
ed subsequent to January 1, 1966,
upon or allocable to the Compa-
ny’s distribution operations, by
any new or amended law, ordi-
nance or contract. Each gross
monthly bill shall be adjusted
proportionately. Company, at its
option, may forego the applica-
tion of this adjustment; however
failure of Company to apply such
adjustment shall not constitute a
waiver of Company's right from
time to time, or at any time, to
make such adjustment, in whole
or in part, in any subsequent
current monthly biU that may be
applicable to such bill.
Net rate shall apply to all bills
paid within ten days from month-
ly billing date.
In addition to the aforesaid rates.
Company shall have the right to
collect such reasonable charges
as are necessary to conduct its
business and to carry out its
reasonable rules and regulations
in effect.
The above rate is applicable to
each residential and commercial
consumer per month or for any
part of a month for which gas

Mr. and Mrs. Glen Gustafson
and their son and daughter-in-
law, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gus-
tafson, and children, Richard
Glen and Sherri, returned home
recently after a month’s visit in
the Northern States. .
Mrs. Charles Gustafson and
children left a month earlier by
train for a longer visit with her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard
Hangenor, at Crosby, North Da-
kota, and her sister and husband,
Mr. and Mrs. Leaf Bende and
iSon, Martie, and her brother and
wife, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Haugen
or and son, Randy, at Nunan,
N.D.
The Gustafsons also visited
their daughter and husband, Mr.
and Mrs. Wallace Carlstad and
children, Peggy and Larry. Mrs.
Carlstad is a sister of Charlie
Gustafson. They visited a host of
relatives and friends in the Dako-
tas.
Then they motored on to Ronan
Montana, where they visited an-
other son and brother and his
wife, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Gus-
tafson and children, Angela Jo
and Galen Kyle, and other friends
there. On their return home they
traveled through Butte, Montana,
where they saw the copper mine,
and also through Yellow Stone
National Park where they arrived
just in time to see Old Faithful
rise.
Also saw several bears. They
spent a night at Gering, Nebraska
where they visited another sister,
Mr. and Mrs. Bob Schumacher
and children, Ronnie, Rocky and
Vicky.

kindnesses during my recent stay

AN ORDINANCE
An ordinance fixing and deter-
mining the general service rate
to be charged for sales of natural
gas to residential and commer-
cial consumers within the city
limits of Clifton, Bosque County,
Texas, and providing for the man-
ner in which such rate may be
changed, adjusted and amended
and declaring an emergency.
Be it ordained by the City
Council of the City of Clifton:
Section 1. Effective with the
first gas bills rendered on or after
the 25 day of Oct., 1967, the gener-
al service rate for sales of natural
gas rendered, to residential and
commercial consumers within the
city limits of Clifton by Lone
Star Gas Company, a Texas cor-
poration, its successors and as-
sertion 2. The rate set forth in
Section 1 may be changed and
amended by either the City or
Company furnishing gas in the
manner provided by law. Service
hereunder is subject to the orders
of regulatory bodies having juris-
diction, and to the Company's
Rules and Regulations currently
on file in the Company’s office.
Section 3. The fact that there
is an imperative public need for
an ordinance fixing and deter-
mining the rate for gas and gas
service furnished to residential
and commercial consumers cre-
ates an emergency, and the read
ing and passage of this ordinance
at three separate meetings is
hereby suspended and this ordi-
nance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after the date
of its passage at a single meeting
and the approval thereof by the
Mayor.

the 12th day of September, A.D.
1967.

Hanna Reunion
One of Bosque County’s largest
reunions was enjoyed August 31
until Sept. 4, by 135 relatives and
close friends of the Hanna fami
ly, at the Hanna Fishing and
Hunting Camp on the Banks of
the Beautiful Brazos River.
Quite a number of outdoor gam-
,es kept the adults and children
busy, and the river banks were
dotted with fishermen all hours
of the day.
Many brought musical instru-
ments and Saturday night the en-
tire group arranged chairs in a
large circle and sang until late.
Sunday morning some attended
church and later in the day a
large fish fry was held.
By Monday, many returned
home, but all left looking forward
to next year’s reunion.
