cher Hospital Foundation.
Funeral services were held
July 17 in the First United
Methodist Church in Clifton. The

On January 31, 1937, lw mar-
ried Juanita Faye Pendleton in
the Cranfills Gap Methodist
Church. He was raised in the
Baptist C-borch and joined thd
Methodist Church when he mar-
ried.
After his marriage he lived in
Clifton for. one year on the Wal-
lace Homestead i Which is now
the Thompson Turkey Farms i,
Later went to work for the Aus-
tin Bridge Company, and worker!
for that company in Temple
Boldwin, Louisiana; Port Arthur,
| Texas; and Shreveport, Louisi-
ana,
During the war he worked in
the shipyard. in Orange, as a
heavy equipment operator.
In 1945 he returned to Clifton
and bought the Conoco Cafe and
the Outlaw Cafe. Several years
later he bought die Clifton lee
Company and operated it until
he" was unalble to continue in this
business because of his health
Survivors include' his wife,
Faye, of Clifton; children: Price
