from Isa. 41-34. There were

Lucy Huse, Faye Bronstad,
Vada Wimberly, Lenora Schib-
ler and Versia Giese. Cakes,
cookies, coffee and tea were
served.

Mrs. Ole (Selma) Hovend of'
Fort Worth died Aug. 1. She
was a native of the Norse
community, and a resident of
Fort Worth for the past 27
years.
Services were held Aug. 3
in Our Saviors Lutheran
Church, Norse. The Rev. Mr.
Schmidt of Fort Worth offi-
ciated with Pastor Jenson as-
sisting.
Interment was in the Norse
Cemetery.
Survivors include three
sons, Estes and Raymond of
Fort Worth, and Odin P. of
Clifton; three daughters, Mrs.
Opal Crabtree of Waco, Mrs.
Mildred Deger and Mrs. Doro-
thy Stuard of Fort Worth;
two sisters, Mrs. Clara Lahlum
of Clifton, and Mrs. Alma
Johnson of Breokenridgc; nine
grandchildren and seven great
grandchildren.
