Il was too good to be true. Suddenly 1 found I had the opportunity to visit the
land of my dreams — a tropical island! It was long ago when my beloved
‘‘rolling stone” uncle visited my home, brimming with stories of the fascinat-
ing, delightful South Seas. I had been convinced that life in this land would be u
forever-happy thing.
And now the magical moment had come. I found that the sky was, indeed,
bluer thun blue, the flowers brilliant and luxurious, the sea clear and everchung-
ing. Yes, it was all this and more.
But one day us I stood on the shore listening to the roaring rhyme of the
wuves, I realized that I was no huppierthun I hud been before. I discovered thut
my problems were within me. How could I huve assumed thut happiness would
be guaranteed on an enchanted island?
These thoughts prompted me to return to my church which I had ignored for
many years. Here I found my faith was renewed, and I found self-respect and
understanding that come from loving God and doing His will. I sensed anew
that no man can expect to experience true happiness without Him. Hurry to your
church — there to find the ingredients to make your days and your life glad and
secure.

the Equal Payment Plan:
When you know in advance what your monthly electric bill will be, it
can sure help your budget planning! The Equal Payment Plan is an
easy way to ‘‘smooth out” your monthly electric bills. Here's how it
works... your yearly electric usage is estimated and divided into
twelve equal monthly payments. By paying a little more for your
service during months of relatively light usage, you can avoid those
really high bills during months of heavy electric consumption.
Periodically, your account is reviewed to make sure the original
estimate is in keeping with your actual usage. If it is not, you will be
contacted and an adjustment worked out. If you’re interested in the
