PRINCIPALS’ CONFERENCE—Selected high school
principals from across the state recently attended a
two-day “shirt sleeve’’ conference, hosted by the
educational administration segment of the Department
of Education at Southwest Texas State University, at 7-A
Ranch in Wimberley. The conference provided an
opportunity for participants to interact with SWT
faculty, visiting consultants and each other regarding
current issues in school administration. SWT officials
working with the conference participants included John
Beck, left, assistant professor of education. Among the
officials attending the conference was Joe Bryan, Clifton
ISD principal.

spring salad supper and
style show April 10, at the
Clifton Elementary School.
Doris’ Sportswear and
Bertelsen’s will be partici-
pating in the style show,
with the Young Home-
makers and the Future
Homemakers modeling the
latest spring fashions.
An ladded attraction will
be from Rone’s of Dallas,
who will show their collec-
tions of prom and wedding
dresses.
During the event, door
prizes will be given away,
and the installation of new
officers will be held.
The salad supper will
start at 6 p.m., with the
style show starting at 7 p.m.
