The House of Representatives passed a resolution this
week to set guidelines for a House Ethics Committee. It
will advise members on ethical questions and

Senate Ethics Commission which has conducted five
investigations and issued 657 advisory opinions to U S
Senators.
Members will be subjected to follow rules which
include thier official conduct, performance of their legal
and constitutional duties, interactions with state
agencies and thier monitoring and enforcing Ethics
Committee policies and guidelines. The Committee will
report and make recommendations based on their
findings.
The Ethics Committee will consist of nine members of
the House Administration Committeeand will hold open
meetings except when testimony violates a person's
right of privacy, a person discloses information relating
to a criminal offense or when information discovered
must be kept confidential by governmental officers or
employees.
Members serving on the committtee will become
ineligible to participate if the committee investigates
that member's conduct, or a complaint was filed by a
member or one of his employees.

Co They lived in an area called,“Powelldale'' which is

location of the graves of these two people? Ms.
McCullough will respond to all communications.
