people will be panelists at the
“Financial Planning for Young
Couples” seminar to be held Tues-
day, Sept. 22, at the Community
Room of Western Federal Savings
in Clifton.
The program, which will begin at
6 p m., is open to everyone. The
paneliMs'include Abe Stroud, First
Republic Bank; Robert Canonico,
Attorney; Don Gunn, Lamar Sav-
ings; Rick Lundberg, CPA; and
Mark Williamson, Clifton Nation-
al Bank Angie Whitney, committee
chairman, will direct questions to
the panelists concerning taxes,
wills, checking accounts, loans, sav
ings. and investment.
Sharing the program will be Mrs.
Nancy Granovsky, Family Econom-
ic Specialist. Texas Agricultural Ex-
tension Service Her topics are:
"Technique for Building a Strong
Financial Base in Marriage" and
"Benefits of Good Money
Management "
Donna Edwards, County Exten-
sion Agent, will speak on “Young
Mameds and Their Money ”
Purpose of the program is to help
young families improve their finan-
cial management skills and become
more informed on the financial
planning process
Local banks and savings and
loans will have exhibits of their
banking services available
The seminar is presented by the
Home Economics Committee for the
County Extension Service Sponsors
of the event are: Bosque County
Bank, Clifton National Bank. First
KepubUcBank, First Security Bank,
Iredell State Bank. Lamar Savings,
and Western Federal Savings
The program will begin with a
light supper sponsored by the banks

Our Lady of the Lake Episcopal
Church, located on the comer of
