“My Darling Clementine,” Twen-

which opens Sunday at the Plaza

The script of the film called for
Henry Fonda to throw Linda Dar-

In a very exciting, see-saw game,
the Ennis Lions cage team got their
first victory of the year last night
at the local gym when they came
from behind in the last quarter
to beat Forest of Dallas 37 to 31.
The locals got off to an early
lead in the game as they counted
6 points before the visitors found
range on the hoop. At the end of
the first quarter Ennis was leading
8 to 4 but in the second period the
Forest team gradually pulled up
until they knotted the score at 16
all and then added a field goal and
a free shot to lead 19 to 16 at half-
time.
But opening the second half the
visitors were still hot and ran
their count up to 24 points before
Ennis could score again. At one
time they were leading 28 to 18 but
Lovell made two for Ennis to start
aurally. Springfield got a field
goal followed by Wlilson to cut the
lead to four points. Forest made
two more points and Wilson got
another with the third quarter end-
ing Forest 30, Ennis 26.
Opening the last period the vis-
itors got a free shot and this was
their score of the game. Lovell
made a free shot and Wilson added
two Held goals to tie the score and
then sank another to put Ennis out
in front 33 to 31. Ennis started
freezing the ball to kill time and
opened up the Forest defense, thus
allowing Wilson to gdt another and
Morgan added the last field goal.
Wilson was very accurate on his
goal shooting but got some excellent
team work from Lovell, Springfield,
Crow, Morgan and G-laspy.
Morgan, guard for the Forest
team, was the high scorer for the
visitors.
