The Directors and Stockholders of The First Nation-
al Bank in Honey Orove have under consideration a plan
to convert the Bank from a National Bank to a State
Bank. Under the plan the Capital Stock of the Bank would
double and its total capital accounts would be increas-
ed. Some of the advantages of a conversion to a State
Bank are;
0 ' '/•j. *,* , ’
1. Increitsed lending power to our customers; Na-
tional banking authorities are more restrictive
on the amount of loans to individual borrowers
than are State Banks.
2. We could better serve the farmers and mer-
chants of the area with the more liberal loan
restrictions imposed on State Banks.
