Mrs. E. A. Pulliam entertained die George Blakey Chapter
of Daughters of die American Revolution of Bonham in her
home Saturday afternoon. '
Mrs. Floy Hodge gave excerpts from the Newsletter, The
Institute of Texan Cultures, University of Texas, Austin.
Mrs. Shaw read a report on defense. Mrs. Thomas Ram-
sey presented an interesting program on Early American Gar-
dens.
The hostess served refreshments to fifteen members and
one guest, Mrs. R.N. Cooper, during the social hour.
Jess Frazier of Bonham passed away at his home in Bonham
Friday morning. Burial was in the Windom Cemetery Sunday
afternoon.
Mr. Frazier resided here many years and is survived by
his wife of the home; a son, Doyle Frazier, Olny, 111.; a
daughter, Mrs. Inez Littlejohn, Texarkana, Ark.; and one
brother, Alvin Frazier of Windom.
Weekend guests of Mrs. L.E. Miles were her daughter,
Mrs. Loree Ellenger of Grapevine and her guests, Mr. and
Mrs. Joe Kouns of Rocky Ford, Colorado, who were enroute
to Natchez, Miss, to attend the Azalia Trail and Pilgrimage
of Homes which is held annually. Other guests were another
daughter, Mrs. Billie Dunlap and Mr. Dunlap of Pittsburg.
Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Frank Howell were Glen Elliott of
Longview, Mrs. Florence Cooper, a house guest, and Wilson
Howell of ACC, Abilene.
Mr. and Mrs. William Smith are patients in The Savoy
Rest Home. ............... ,
Bryan Wood, who has been a patient in Fairview Rest Home
several weeks, came home Tuesday.
Demp Epperson, who spent several days in the John Sealy
Hospital in Galveston for medical treatment came home Wed-
nesday.
Mr. and Mrs., John McCraw of Euless were weekend guests
of Mr. and Mrs. George Crossland and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Lindell Bell and family of Garland were
guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Bell Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Ridge and children visited Mr. and
Mrs. Jack Ridge.
Mr. and Mrs. Cody Barnett of Fort Worth were weekend
guests of Mrs. Ida Brown.
Mr. and Mrs. Sammie Word and Jamie were guests of Mr.
and Mrs. Thomas Ridge and family in Paris Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gilbreath were weekend guests of their
daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Macon Wix in Bonham.
Eddie Thompson of Crandall was a weekend guest of his
parents, Mi. and Mrs. A.J. Thompson.
Mrs. Millie Matubby of Caddo, Oklahoma visited her bro-
ther, P.O. Rasberry and other relatives here during the week-
end.
Mrs. J. A. Plrtle, Mrs. Lou Cunningham, Miss Clara Ras-
berry, Mrs. Kelce Cunningham and Mrs. Millie Maytubby
visited their brother, Grady Rasberry and Mrs. Rasberry in
Bonham Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Tommie Johnson and Brandon of Mesquite
visited Mrs. Ruby Cooper Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Rayburn Nash of Mount Pleasant were week-
end guests of his mother, Mrs. Tom Nash. They visited Miss
Bonnie Parker in the hospital, Bonham, and Mrs. Mitchell
Collins and children.
