Salutatory Are
Announced.
Thirty-three ten ion were grad-
uated from Arandas Pass high
last Friday night at the
First Baptist Church.. A capa-
city crowd attended the exercises.
Farene Kubena was announced
as class valedictory and Lola
Jean Servers won the salutatory
award. Farene Kubena had a
four-year scholastic average of
89.6, while Lola Jean Soever*
high school mark was 88.8. The
two honor students were not
known until Friday night when
the announcement was made.
Other students close up for high
honors were Helen Henry, Dewitt
Compton, Bernice Neely and Joe
Keepers.
Dr. Walter Noble presented the
diplomas, while Principal W. T.
Henry announced scholarship
awards. Special numbers were
given by De Alva Mae Etheredge
and Janice Ayres, by Mayme Mae
