Assembly Of God
“The Father Only”
Matthew 24:34-44
3^1 tell you the truth, this gen-
eration will certainly not pass
away until all these things
have happened. ^ ^Heaven
and earth will pass away, but
my words will never pass
away. JO”No one knows
about that day or hour, not
even the angels in heaven,
nor the Son, but only the Fa-
ther. 3?As it was in the days
of Noah, so it will be at the
coming of the Son of Man.
o o
-)0For in the days before the
flood, people were eating and
drinking, marrying and giv-
ing in marriage, up to the day
Noah entered the ark; ^and
they knew nothing about what
would happen until the flood
came and took them all away.
That is how it will be at the
coming of the Son of Man.
4^Two men will be in the
field; one will be taken and
the other left. 41 Two women
will be grinding with a hand
mill; one will be taken and
the other left. 42,,x]ierefore
keep watch, because you do
not know on what day your
Lord will come. 43gut un_
derstand this: If the owner of
the house had known at what
time of night the thief was
coming, he would have kept
watch and would not have
let his house be broken into.
^^So you also must be ready,
because the Son of Man will
come at an hour when you do
not expect him.
“This week’s SON Light”
Verses 35 and 36 warn against

for Christ’s return. The Father

been set by His authority. The
observation that the people of
Noah’s day knew not the se-
verity and suddenness of the
coming destruction indicates
that this last generation will
be totally unprepared for the
coming of the Son of Man,
the return of Jesus Christ to
judge the world!

Vote Ted Carrington for County Judge
For generations our family has called Delta County
“home.” Our parents raised us here, and so did theirs.
Dad and Mom have been part of the community, working
like the rest of you, trying to make Delta County a great place
to live and raise a family. They understand your love for this
community, because they feel the same way as you.
Daddy has served as either County Commissioner or
County Judge for several years. Momma has been a school
teacher for many of you and your children.
Our Dad and Mom love this community. They love the
people of Delta County. And we ask for your vote for Ted
Carrington for County Judge on November 2nd. Thanks for
your kind consideration.
