ren, of Monardvilie, were here
last week on their way to Alpine.
Their car was driven by “Piunk"
Tipton, who works in a garage at
Menurdville.
The young people here will be
pleated to know that Mias Essie
Lipscomb has been employed to
teaoh another > car in the pub it*
schools. Miss Lipscomb needs
no introduction to Kt. Stockton’s
best society.
Miss Clyde Royal left Friday
night for her home at Fori, Stock-
ton, after a pleasant visit with
her sister, Mrs Happle, who,
with htr children, accompanied
Miss Royal home for a several
weeks' stay.—Sanderson Times.
A curious freak of the electric
storm Tuesday night was the

in the big tree in front of Bran-
non's Store. The next morning
the ground under the tree was
literally eovered with the corpses
of the unfortunate sparrows
