1 Sixty-four pupils of St. John’s
| School, accompanied by four sis-
i ters and 12 mothers, joined other
, pupils from parochial schools in
I San Antonio and neighboring
| towns, on an educational tour to
I Austin Thursday, March 3.
The tour was arranged through
the San Antonio Federation of
Catholic Parent-Teacher clubs
and approximately a thousand
children took part in the tour,
which took them to Austin by
train. In Austin the group was
taken to several places of interest
by bus, which included the state
capitol, St. Edward’s University
where lunch was eaten picnic
style on the campus and the Tex-
as Memorial Museum.
In the state capitol the group
was addressed by Gov. Shivers,
visited the huge underground
vault in the state treasury de-
partment and listened to the
state legislators while the House
of Representatives was in ses-
sion.

ern Zone” throughout the South-
ern Baptist Convention. Progres-
sively the crusade will move
north until the entire area, in-
cluding Northwest United States
and Alaska, has been reached,
so that every church (relatively
speaking) has held a revival, or
soul-winning campaign.
The First Baptist Church and
Mexican Mission here will be one
of 29,000 churches crusading
through mid April.
Beginning Monday, March 14,
Dr. Ira Bentley, Fort Worth
pastoij, will preach twice a day
through March 20. Lt. Gerry
Jones of Hondo Air Base and
a native of Fayetteville, Ark., will
lead the singing through the
week of March 14.
Worship will be at 11 a. m.
with the Rev. Harold B. Corneli-
son officiating. Sunday school will
be at 9:45 a. m. and the train-
ing union for all ages will start
at 6:15 p. m. Evening worship
will begin at 7:30 p. m.
